Open your practice by taking a few deep,

Long,

Slow breaths,

Softening each muscle,

Giving your body permission to widen and expand.

Each exhale dropping more and more into your support,

Falling heavily under the weight of gravity.

With gravity offering its assistance,

Muscle begins to melt from bone,

Jaw,

Bottom from top,

A softer face,

Lighter eyes,

Really slow,

Long,

Deep breaths.

As you pull in the external sensory body,

Drawing everything in towards the breath surrounding your heart,

The inner sensory body awakens.

All that is left between you and the external becomes the sound of my voice.

Become aware of the desire to control.

Notice if there's any area of tension or body part that needs to be adjusted,

Supported.

Perhaps even taking a soft pillow just under the back of the head,

Gently tucking your chin towards your clavicle,

Opening up the line of energy across the pole of the spine.

Squeeze each quad muscle to the bone,

Squeeze your calves,

Your toes.

Take a big breath in.

Breathe out the tension,

Relaxing all muscle body.

Breathe in each and every toe from middle to edges,

Arches to tops of feet,

Skin of the shin,

Each kneecap,

Both sides of your body expanding from midline,

Shoulder blades completely held by the earth.

Letting go of any last residual tension across the chest and the heart.

As the physical body expands from left to right,

The heart becomes exposed.

We call in our heart vow,

The beautiful paradox of our life,

What we wish for and we already have.

What do you find yourself saying so often?

I'm not worthy.

I'm not enough.

I'm not free.

I'm not loved.

I'm not safe.

What is it that keeps bringing you to spirit time and again?

The innate knowing that you are worthy,

That you are enough.

You are free.

You are loved.

You are.

At this relaxed point inside the practice where the body has gone soft and the brain waves elongate,

This is the opportunity to connect with universal consciousness,

To plug in to energy.

Three is a very wise and powerful number.

It represents the full cycle of life.

Three times remember inside your heart,

I am.

What is it?

Are you worthy?

Are you enough?

Are you safe?

Are you loved?

Are you free?

I am.

I am.

There is a desire of the ego to hold on to the sankalpa,

To take the work that is already done and make it harder.

There's the desire of the ego to hold on to the past and the desire of the soul to grow,

Evolve,

Expand.

Grow.

Be.

Feel into the brilliant mix of both human and spirit that exists within your body.

Walk yourself back to the memory of your wholeness.

Before your personality gripped on to what's good and what's bad,

What I like and what I don't like.

Go back to the wholeness.

Scroll down the riverbeds of each experience of your life.

Take yourself into the experience of your body,

Your birth,

Your evolution,

The ever changing quality of your body.

We'll travel through the body during rotation of consciousness.

We begin on the right side in the right hand palm.

And as though there is a light touch to your right hand palm,

The hemispheres of the brain ignite to recognize the awareness of energy in your right hand palm.

As you move through rotation of consciousness,

You may experience heat sensations,

Cool sensations.

You may experience even light touch.

This is a memory that exists inside the mind,

An association,

Part of your personality.

Go beyond that into what is my body,

Where do I feel it,

And how do I feel it for the first time.

Right hand palm.

All five fingers of the right hand from fingertip to bone,

To blood,

To tissue,

To skin.

From middle to outer edges.

From outer edges to inner.

Whole right hand.

Feel the same awareness.

Aware of self for the first time.

Lower right arm.

From inner to outer.

Lower right arm.

Upper right arm.

From inner upward to your shoulder socket.

From inner to outer.

Right shoulder.

The skin across the top of your right shoulder.

Your upper chest.

Your breast.

Low rib cage.

Right organ body.

Strength of right hip,

Pelvic bowl.

Whole of the right leg.

Awareness of awareness watching.

Awareness of sensation.

Whole right leg.

Expand your awareness and attention to left hand palm.

Sense if there is any muscle tension in your body.

And actively release left hand palm.

All five fingers.

From fingernail to bone,

To blood,

To tissue,

To skin.

From outer to inner.

External to mid.

All five fingers.

Whole of the left hand.

Lower left arm.

Inner to outer.

Outer to inner.

Upper left arm.

Following the energy of awareness into left shoulder.

Inner to outer.

The top of your shoulder.

The skin.

Your upper chest.

Your breast.

Lower rib.

Left organ body.

Left hip.

Strength of your pelvic bowl.

Whole of your left leg.

Your whole left leg.

Feel the back of your body as it's resting against your support.

Become aware of how much weight you have dropped and if there is any more you could give to the earth.

From your shoulders,

Your thighs,

Your glutes.

Drop your heels so heavy into the earth.

As you pull awareness from your heels to your calves.

From your calves to your hamstrings.

Your hamstrings to your glutes.

Feel the fascia across your lower back.

Mid back.

Feel it across your upper back.

In relation to both heels.

Totally connected.

Follow it across both shoulders.

And down the backs of each arm.

Wrapping both hands.

Feel it stretch across the front of the shoulders.

Back of the shoulders.

The sides of the shoulders.

All the way up into the top of your head.

Entire body connected.

Feel the fascia that wraps your physical body.

Begin to heat,

Release and repair.

Heat,

Release and repair.

Heat,

Release and repair.

Feel the lubrication of your body.

As you sense your body in it's wholeness.

Become aware of the heat.

Of your core temperature inside your body.

Become aware of the coolness that rests across your nose.

The interior of your nostrils with each breath.

Feel your core temperature.

The heat from your core temperature.

At the same time.

As the coolness in through each nostril.

Hot and cold.

Hot and cold.

Cold and hot.

Feel the heaviness that each exhale brings to your body.

Each breath out.

Wanting.

Asking your body to become heavier.

To give more of itself over.

Heavy.

Each inhale.

Lightly lifting the body away from the earth.

Becoming buoyant for a breath.

Lightness.

The pause between the breath.

Light and heavy.

Light and heavy.

Come back into awareness of self.

Self that is dense.

Self that is light.

Wholeness of self.

Stay so relaxed in the body.

Continually softening tension to the floor.

Opening third eye.

Internal vision.

Become aware of the center of your forehead.

Pajanamaya Kosha.

The wisdom layer.

We move through the portal of the unknown.

Into the unconscious.

Subconscious of the minds.

Red paint.

New shoes.

Orange sunset.

Your lover's embrace.

Yellow sun.

Feeling loved.

Green forest top.

Green forest top.

Green forest top.

Your three year old self.

The sky a brilliant blue.

A choir of singing birds.

The rich royalness of the color indigo.

Gold coins dripping from your hands.

A rainbow with seven variations of purple.

Universal spirit.

The vibration of wholeness.

Use your inner voice.

Emitting the frequency of the language I am.

As you're closing your practice come back so slowly.

It is this time.

This twilight between sleep and wakefulness.

When you can experience the intelligence of your inner knowing.

Listen to your body.

Listen to your breath.

Don't attach a past story.

Smell the room that you are in.

Swallow what's pooled in your mouth.

As you come out of this intelligent state.

Hold awareness.

Awareness of awareness.

As long as you can.

While you begin to move the body.

Stay aware.

Witness.

After this nidra I went and sat in the silence in my garden for a very long time. Birds wheeled overhead. I picked up a fallen rose petal and held it in my hand. Whatever transformation had taken place in that deep state of nidra was asking for time to sink into my waking consciousness. Pure, silent, gold.
