So when you're ready we'll start to settle in.

Take a moment to find your comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

Taking any movements,

Any adjustments you need so that you can feel as comfortable as possible.

And then gently closing down your eyes.

And as you close down your eyes,

You'll start to become more aware of the different sounds that are going on in the environment around you.

Just becoming aware of what you can hear.

Not labelling any sounds as good or bad.

Not resisting any sounds.

Just seeing if you can allow yourself to lean into a listening presence without judgement.

Noticing how one sound arises,

Stays for a little while and then passes by making space for another sound.

Just easily listening to the sounds.

Easily listening to the soundscape around you.

And then allowing your awareness to settle down a little deeper into your body.

Becoming aware of the physical sensations at a present.

Noticing how your body is feeling today.

Perhaps there is some pain or tension present.

Maybe your body is feeling open and relaxed.

Simply noticing how your body is feeling right now in this moment.

Not resisting any sensations that are uncomfortable or painful.

Not striving to achieve a state of physical relaxation.

All you have to do is just allow yourself to be present to the sensations in your body.

And then allowing your awareness to settle a little deeper.

Once again.

This time becoming aware of how you're feeling today.

You might be feeling a little bit agitated,

Stressed with a busy mind.

Maybe you're feeling a little bit flat today.

Perhaps there are some negative thoughts going on in your head.

Maybe you're feeling contented and your mind is relatively at ease.

Whatever it is that you're experiencing,

Know that it's perfectly okay.

None of your thoughts or feelings are good or bad,

Right or wrong.

All you have to do is simply be aware of the emotions and the thoughts that are present.

Giving yourself the space and the permission to be exactly as you are in this moment.

And allowing yourself to rest in a sense of easy,

Open awareness.

Experiencing all of the sounds,

Physical sensations in your body,

Thoughts and emotions without judgment,

Without resistance,

Without needing to control or change whatever it is that you're experiencing.

All you have to do is allow yourself to be exactly as you are right now in this moment.

Continuing to rest in the state of easy,

Mindful awareness.

And as our practice comes to an end,

Slowly start to deepen your breath once again.

Allowing yourself to take any stretches,

Any movements that you need.

Taking your time to ease your way out of the practice slowly,

Mindfully.

When you're ready,

Blinking your eyes back open into a soft,

Steady gaze.
