So just making your way into a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

If you haven't already,

Gently closing down your eyes or finding a soft steady gaze at a point in front.

Beginning to draw your awareness inwards,

Allowing yourself this brief moment in time to connect with the spaciousness and silence within.

So just scanning your awareness throughout your body.

Notice any places that might feel tense or tight and taking a deep full breath in.

As you breathe out,

Seeing if you can soften through those areas.

With each following inhale,

Breathing in a sense of lightness and openness.

And with each exhale that follows,

Letting go of any worries or concerns that you've had throughout this day.

Beginning to let it all go.

Knowing that for the next little while,

There's nothing else you need to do.

Nowhere else you need to be.

And this is your time and space to simply be here in this moment.

Connecting with the stillness and silence within.

So just allowing yourself to be here as you are.

Letting the mind rest on the gentle rising and falling of each breath.

Experiencing the breath without any effort or control.

Simply experience the sensation of your body as it breathes.

Perhaps resting your awareness on the place in your body where you feel your breath the most.

This might be at the nostrils,

In the chest or the belly.

Perhaps feeling into the sensation of your whole body breathing.

Aware of the breath and the body.

The experience of being here in stillness and silence.

Breathing yourself full.

Aware of the sweet silence and stillness within you.

And as each breath becomes a little slower and deeper,

You might start to become aware of the brief moments of pause between each breath.

The moment of suspension as your breath rounds the corner from in to out.

Out to in.

Without trying to change or control anything at all.

Simply allowing yourself to lean into this stillness and silence within.

Aware of the body,

Thoughts,

Sensations and emotions.

Constantly in flux.

As you rest here and breathe,

Seeing if you can allow yourself to lean into the moments of spaciousness and silence in between.

Almost as if your awareness were dropping right down into the center of stillness in between.

Connecting with the sense of pure awareness and silence within you.

The core of your being.

Dropping down into the peaceful place within you.

So just allowing yourself to rest here as you are.

Easily favoring the awareness of the breath and the body.

And the sweet stillness and silence within you.

Remaining here in this beautiful energy of spaciousness and stillness for the final few moments of your practice.

Knowing that you can return to this state of pure awareness any time you need.

And finally,

As we come to the end of this practice,

Beginning to draw your breath in a little bit deeper once again.

Finding small movements through your fingers,

Your toes.

Taking any other movements or stretches that you need.

As you gently ease your way out of this practice.

Returning to a more alert and awake state.

And drawing this practice to a close.
