Transcript

When you're ready,

Settling into your posture and then either closing down your eyes or finding a steady gaze at a point in front,

Then in your own time,

Taking three long,

Full,

Deep breaths right the way down into your belly.

With each exhalation that follows,

Allowing yourself to soften a little more into the support of the surfaces beneath you.

Giving yourself permission to really lean back into the embrace of the surfaces you're being held by.

Allowing your body to trust in the experience of being held and supported.

Aware of the temperature of the air and the sensation of your clothes against your skin.

Allowing yourself to become aware of the slow,

Steady rhythm of your breath.

And the breath that flows without you even noticing.

Aware of the gentle rising and falling of each inhalation and each exhalation.

This sacred companion that is with you every moment of every day.

Allowing each breath to really anchor you here in your body.

Feeling a deep sense of connection with yourself.

Aware of your breath flowing in and out like the waves of the ocean.

The steady rhythm keeping you alive and well.

Without you even noticing.

Simply being here and recognizing these powerful forces within your body.

That continue to work day and night without you even noticing.

Knowing that these forces are allowing you to heal each day.

Within the rhythm of each breath and each heartbeat.

Seeing if you can allow these simple recognitions to help you call forth a sense of trust in the natural wisdom of your body.

Trusting in this moment where you feel so deeply relaxed.

Trusting in your body's ability to nurture and nourish you.

To remind you of what's needed.

Feeling a sense of trust in your heart.

Your heart beating without you even needing to think about it.

Every beat of your heart sustaining your body,

Your life.

Trusting in your breath.

Trusting in your body's innate ability to heal.

That's always been there and strengthens every day as you grow.

Trusting in your inner knowing and wisdom.

Reassuring you that everything is safe in this moment.

Knowing that this is the place to return to whenever you feel anxious,

Restless or afraid of what's to come.

The innate strength and wisdom that resides at the core of your being.

All you have to do is simply breathe into the deeply trusting part that resides at the core of your being.

Remaining here in this state of rest and relaxation.

Deeply connected to yourself for the final few moments of this practice.

When you feel ready,

Slowly beginning to draw your breath in a little bit deeper.

Welcoming in small movements through your fingers and your toes.

Taking any stretches or movements that you need.

As you start to ease your way out of this practice once again.

Knowing that you can return to this feeling of inner trust anytime you need.

Whenever you're ready,

Allowing yourself to draw this practice to a close.
