Hello,
My name is Megan Noreen and I am so pleased that you have come to meditate with me today.
This meditation is an invitation to surrender into the energy of the womb.
It is best done during the inner winter of the menstrual cycle,
Which is the time of bleeding,
The time of menstruation.
But it can be practiced at any other time in the cycle when you are wanting to connect to the energy that your womb holds.
So I invite you now if it is available for you to lay down for this meditation.
If you're not able to lay down,
You can sit in a comfortable seat and you can go ahead and close your eyes if that is available.
You're going to begin by becoming aware of your body in the space.
And then start at the top of the head.
Bring your awareness to the crown of your head,
To the back of your head,
To your face.
Notice where your head is in space.
Going down to the neck and the throat,
Down to the shoulders,
The arms,
And the hands.
Notice where your arms are in space.
Bring your awareness to your chest and upper back,
To your midsection,
And to your lower belly and your sit bones.
Bring your awareness how your entire upper body is situated in space.
Bring your awareness to your hips,
To your thighs,
To your lower legs,
And your feet.
Bring your awareness how your entire lower body is situated in this space.
Bring your awareness to your entire body from head to toe,
From left to right.
Where is your body in space?
Feel the boundaries of your body and where your skin meets the air or your clothes around you.
And we're gonna bring all of that awareness.
We're gonna pull it down from the head and the neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Chest,
Midsection,
Lower belly.
Place that awareness in your womb.
And we're gonna pull it up from the feet,
Lower legs,
Thighs,
Hips,
Bringing all of the awareness inside of the womb space.
If you would like to,
You can also place your hands over top of your womb space at this time.
I want you to feel your body getting heavier and heavier as you surrender into the surface below you.
As you surrender into the support of the earth.
Allow your womb to get heavier and heavier as you allow the earth to support your womb.
Allow your womb to feel the support,
Allowing the energy rising from the earth in the form of energetic hands to hold your womb.
The earth is holding your womb.
Allow yourself to let go,
Release,
Surrender into the earth's holding.
The wisdom of the earth is supporting you as you surrender into the support of the earth.
As the earth's hands are holding your womb,
Sending your womb tender,
Loving care,
Letting you know that it's all right to let go.
You are safe in the hands of mother earth.
You are safe in the hands of the earth.
The cyclical wisdom of the earth flows through your body and is exemplified by your womb.
They are one in their nature and you are able to fully surrender into your womb space,
Into your time of bleeding.
You will be able to discover the essence of who you are and your divine purpose on this earth.
You are welcome to stay in this meditative state for as long as you need.
When you have felt your journey is complete in this moment,
You can gently rub your womb and give your body thanks for being present to yourself today.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes and reorienting yourself in the room and know that this practice is available for you whenever you need to return to let go and surrender.
