I recorded this meditation live with my group and Richard added some music.

The theme of the meditation is Let it Be.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Now close your eyes.

What's going on right now?

You don't need to make a mental list of what's going on or look for what's going on.

Just noticing.

What's happening in your body?

What are you hearing?

What are you feeling?

What's happening in your mind?

Chances are there's thoughts about what's going on,

Thoughts about what we're doing,

Or thoughts about something else in the past,

The future.

All kinds of thoughts going on.

It's fine not trying to push them out or change them.

Not trying to have any particular kind of thought.

Just letting it all be,

Just as it is.

Whatever is happening,

Let it be.

Let yourself be.

Maybe sometimes you'll notice that you feel things should be different in some way.

But how are we to know how things should be?

Whatever is happening is happening spontaneously,

Naturally.

You can just let it be.

Nevertheless,

There's something going on.

Whatever happens,

Whatever you feel,

No matter what thoughts come,

Let it all be.

Letting it be doesn't mean stopping ourselves from feeling something or having a reaction.

Part of what is,

Is that feeling that we wish things were different.

That's all part of it.

Even the resistance is part of it.

The struggle to make things different.

Let it be is just about a letting go when we notice a struggle.

And if the letting go doesn't happen,

That's fine too.

Anytime the mind wanders,

Just bring it back to what's happening right now.

Not analyzing what's happening,

Not having to name it.

Just a kind of noticing and letting go.

From time to time,

Bringing the awareness to the breath.

Breath goes on its own.

Life goes on its own.

Feelings,

Thoughts come and go on their own.

So you can just let it all be.

You can't control what you feel or what you think.

Why second guess life just be?

Why?

Easy,

Open awareness.

Not resisting anything.

Not minding what's happening.

Easily aware of whatever's happening.

Not resisting.

When there's some attempt to change anything,

Make something happen.

Just letting that go.

Allowing whatever is to be.

Just letting that go.

Noticing whenever the mind is telling you things should be different or that there's some feeling to change things.

Noticing that and then let life be.

Just letting that go.

Noticing that and then let life be.

Just letting yourself sink into the moment.

Letting go of everything,

Any attempts to change anything.

Just letting yourself sink.

Letting go of all effort.

Letting everything be just as it is.

Letting yourself be just as you are.

Completely relaxed in whatever is naturally happening.

Easy,

Open awareness.

Letting everything be.

Letting yourself be.

Never let the mind just wander,

Just easily coming back.

Aware of what's happening without trying to change it.

Letting yourself be.

The mind makes judgments,

Evaluates what's happening.

Noticing that and letting it go.

Noticing how the breath keeps going on its own.

Everything happening spontaneously,

Naturally like the breath.

Just letting yourself be.

Letting go of everything.

Letting go of everything.

We'll start to gradually get ready to come back into activity now.

Knowing that during the day we'll be in a more accepting kind of mode.

Just automatically.

So just starting to stretch and move.

Maybe bring your attention to your body.

Feel your feet.

Take your time to come out of meditation slowly and just whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes.
