Super excited to be recording this meditation today.

Hi,

I'm Mallory and I'm on top of a hill in Morocco.

Today,

We're going to be taking a couple moments,

Just a very brief amount of time to reflect on our day.

A daily reflection can help increase our gratitude,

Can help our sleep,

Can help our psychological health.

There are so,

So many studies of what gratitude can do.

Instead of talking about that,

I want to get you into this little reflection.

Take a moment,

Find your seat,

Find your space.

Maybe you're laying down in bed.

Maybe you're sitting on a chair.

Find a comfortable position.

Start to relax your body,

Soften any tension that's in your legs,

Your arms,

Your face even.

Feel your spine lengthen out,

Your arms get heavy,

Your shoulders relax.

Feel your neck get longer,

Come in line with the rest of your body and your jaw unclench.

Relax down the muscles in your face,

Your eyes,

Your forehead,

Even the top of your head.

Let any tension drift away.

Let's take a moment together to reflect on our day.

Think back,

Scan your day and notice if there's any small moments.

Doesn't have to be something large.

It doesn't have to be something grand.

It can be something as small as you finished all of the water you wanted to drink today.

Any small moment that maybe brought you some joy today,

Bring that to mind.

Notice it.

And then take some time to show it some gratitude.

Thanking yourself in your mind for that moment.

And if your mind is wandering a ton,

Coming back to your breath,

Coming back to just that moment that you're reflecting on.

Notice if it's jumping from moment to moment.

That's amazing.

Reflect on all of those moments and then bring it back nice and slow.

Really take some time to thank yourself.

Give you an example.

Right now.

I am grateful for my body that I was able to hike up to the top of this hill.

I'm grateful for the sun and the wind that are blowing around me.

I'm grateful for these birds that are giving me beautiful music in the background.

I'm going to give you some time here to show some gratitude towards your small moment.

Repeating either phrases or statements to yourself or out loud if you're comfortable with that.

Of that gratitude.

Amazing.

As we get close to the end of this sort daily reflection.

I remind you that this is a practice you can do every day.

Taking one quick minute,

One quick moment while you're laying in bed before you shut your eyes or as your eyes shut.

Just reflect on the day.

Maybe name one or two or three things that brought you joy or that you're grateful for.

This little reflection can become part of your daily habits.

It can become part of your sleep routine to help you go to sleep on a different note.

Know that you can come back to this at any time.

Listen to this any day if you need a reminder on your reflection.

And I'll leave you there today.

From my heart to yours.

Thank you.
