You'll not only hear about the research behind these frequencies, but you’ll also experience them firsthand through guided sound sessions designed to help your body shift naturally toward balance. You don’t need any special background or experience; all you need to do is show up, listen, and allow the sound to do its work. By the end of the course, you’ll have a better understanding of your own stress responses and why you might sometimes feel stuck in anxiety, shutdown, or overwhelm. Modality Waves is a musical project, emerging from a fascination of healing the body through frequencies. Certified Sound Wave Healing Therapist, Film Composer and Producer, Dustin Lau, has been on a journey of healing his own nervous system, discovering that frequencies in music have healing properties at a cellular level, promoting balance and harmony within the body and mind. Today, we’ll explore how sound can essentially "rewire" the brain and nervous system, helping you feel more grounded, relaxed, and emotionally resilient. Which frequencies may be best for long term regulation? When we experience stress or trauma, our brain and nervous system can become stuck in patterns of heightened arousal, leaving us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected. The good news is that sound frequencies have the ability to help shift these patterns and support the brain and body in returning to a state of balance. By using specific sound vibrations, we can influence brainwave activity and activate the body’s natural healing responses.
