Allow the body to settle.

Become comfortable but alert.

Allow the eyes to close down.

And then just focusing in on the space in the room around you.

Feel this space surrounding you.

Pervading you.

Feeling it as a foundational element of our being.

Then bringing the awareness from the space around you to the space just outside of your skin.

Feeling your outline.

Feeling the temperature of the air on your skin.

Feeling the texture of the fabric of your clothes on your skin.

Then bringing the attention to the inside of the skin.

So,

Allowing the attention,

Like water,

To start seeping into your flesh,

Your muscle,

Your organs,

And your bones.

So,

Starting to just feel the landscape of the body.

The landscape of sensations,

Pulsations,

And movements of energy.

Noticing where weight lies,

Where tension lies,

Where pain lies.

And noticing where ease,

Comfort,

Safety,

Or pleasure lie.

And watch any urge of the mind to subtly favor one over the other.

Noticing the mind wanting to move towards ease and comfort,

And move away from pain,

Discomfort,

Tension,

Heaviness.

So,

Seeing if you can give the body permission to hold and feel just five percent more of this current experience.

Allowing it a little more room to unfold the way it wants to unfold.

Allowing the attention to flow freely from sensation to sensation,

Without clinging onto any particular happening or event that arises in awareness.

Allow the attention to be light-footed.

Just moving lightly along,

Moment to moment,

With each sensation.

Allowing,

Simply allowing,

What wants to arise in awareness to arise and flow forth,

To stay and subside.

Arising,

Staying,

Subsiding.

Becoming like water,

Like a river.

Feeling everything simply happening.

Feeling the sensations not as discrete events,

But rather feeling the movement of the awareness from one sensation to the next.

Feeling that playful,

Agile,

Light-footed step from one sensation to the next sensation.

And now,

For this part of the practice,

Just allowing the body,

If it wants to,

To subtly,

Gently,

Slowly,

Make any movements.

And noticing stories or thoughts that arise in tandem with these sensations.

Or feelings.

And gently inviting them to step aside while you allow the raw experience of your body to be met with the luminosity of your awareness.

Allowing the body's natural creativity in the form of your sensations to just take place within your awareness.

Again,

Releasing the urge to hold on to or push away each sensation.

Just seeing if you can feel the movement of it,

The taking place of all of it.

The rising and the falling.

The birth and the death of each sensation,

Moment to moment.

Inviting in more surrender,

More allowing.

And moving the body as feels right without imagining where it might go or how it might look.

Just simply letting.

Allowing the deeper wisdom of the body to take form within the light of your awareness.

Noticing where energy is flowing to and from.

Noticing births and deaths that are occurring within the body.

For example,

The breath.

The birth of the inhale and the death of the exhale.

Just allowing these births and deaths to naturally take place as the divinity within our body naturally expresses itself.

You are a microcosm of the macrocosm.

You are a microcosmos.

Feel the body as that.

Feel the body as a complete and whole universe unto itself.

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing.

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing,

Allowing.

Watching without judgment,

With love,

Watching.

And gently bringing yourself back into stillness.

Find that place within you that carries reverence.

Reverence for this body.

Reverence for the DNA.

Reverence for the wisdom that is always inside of us,

Whether we are consciously aware of it or not.

It is always at play.

It is always at work.

Bow in reverence to this body wisdom,

To this source that makes up and pervades all things.
