Today I want to help you free yourself a little bit.
To make space and to have fun,
And connect in a way that's completely unique to you.
Let's start in a seated position with a bit of breathing.
We're going to do a bit of box breathing to start off with,
So let's take a breath together to prepare.

Return to your normal breathing pattern and take stock of how your body feels right now.
Does it feel still?
Calm?
Warm?
Buoyant?
Buzzing?
Anxious?
Tired?
However your body is feeling right now is just fine.
But taking stock and noticing,
Honoring how you feel is very important.
Let's take a minute to appreciate the wisdom that your body has and all that it does for you.
Sit in this appreciation and begin to picture a white,
Sparkling energy shimmering down from the crown of your head,
Bathing you with this invigorating,
Pulsing energy.
Feel light in it as it moves down and through your body.
Notice the path it takes as it winds down,
Filling you up,
Charging you.
And whenever this light gets to your feet,
Give in to the energy.
And if you're able,
Please stand up.
Open your eyes and stretch your arms up to the sky.
Feel yourself connected to everything and everyone around you.
Smile at this gift of being alive,
Being present,
And taking pleasure in existing.
Bring your arms down and around you.
Give yourself a tight squeeze,
Remembering to care for yourself,
For your heart,
Body,
And soul.
And as you're feeling that love,
Let yourself start to move freely.
Move your arms in circles or waves.
Allow your legs to bend,
Pushing into the earth that holds you up,
Kissing it with each footstep.
Let your hips and your torso sway as you take pleasure in the joy of movement.
Whether you're bouncing,
Jumping up and down,
Sliding from side to side,
Or making tiny little movements with one body part at a time,
Have fun.
Be in this moment.
Maybe you're dancing alone in your living room.
Maybe you have a loved one with you who wants to join in.
Whatever the experience,
Allow the next few minutes to be an expression of delight and fun.
Each movement you make is perfect and an exploration.
Give in,
Smile,
Be free.
React to the music or just go with the flow in your body.
This is your time,
Your moment to tap into creativity.
Enjoy it.
Thank you for taking that time out to have fun moving your body.
Allow your movements to get a little smaller,
Maybe winding down to your feet feeling grounded in place but still swaying from side to side.
As you wind down,
Close your eyes again and tap back into your emotions.
How are you feeling now?
Scan down your body,
Noticing whether you're feeling less tension,
More free,
Energized.
However you're feeling,
Just acknowledge it as you work your way down slowly from your head to your toes.
Thank yourself for showing up today and for moving.
Feel free to stay here and breathe for as long as you like.
And when you're ready,
Blink your eyes open and come back into your present space.
