Get in a comfortable position where you feel safe and grounded.

Ideally,

The space is quiet and you're able to make sure that you won't be disturbed or distracted.

Whether your feet are planted on the floor or you're sitting with your feet crossed in front of you,

Make sure you're able to breathe fully and maintain this position for a few more minutes.

We're going to start with some deep belly breaths.

Inhaling for four,

Holding for four,

And exhaling for six.

First let's take a collective breath to prepare.

Inhale through the nose and exhale it all through the mouth.

Let's begin.

Inhale through the nose.

Three,

Four,

Hold.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale through the mouth.

Four,

Five,

Six.

Inhale again.

A little bit more.

Hold.

Exhale.

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Inhale through four.

Hold.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Feel your body empty.

Inhale.

Hold.

And exhale.

Inhale.

Hold,

Feeling the stillness.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

And on this exhale,

Gently close your eyes.

Go ahead and exhale.

Return to your normal breath.

Allow it to be easy and free.

No restrictions,

Requirements,

Or limitations.

Just normal breathing.

Sit,

Paying attention to the movement through your body as you're grounded and still.

Imagine a beam of light.

Kissing the crown of your head.

Breathe into its warmth.

Let it radiate into your skull.

As the light fills your head,

Allow it to wash away tension.

With each exhale,

More and more tension washes away as you move gradually through your body.

Let your eyebrows relax.

Feel broadening across your nasal passages,

Your cheeks,

And your jaw.

Each inhalation floods your body with oxygen and light.

And each exhale,

You're able to let go,

Releasing more tension.

Focus the light on your throat and neck,

Embracing the warmth,

Knowing that it shines on the truth,

Beauty,

And unique expression that only you possess.

That light celebrates you and the gift that you are just by being you.

Feel yourself smile at the acknowledgement of this awesome gift of self and of expression.

As you yourself radiate light brighter and deeper,

See the light travel across your collarbones.

And have it enter your shoulders and shimmer down your arms at the same time as that light fills your body,

Washing your lungs in warmth.

Seeping your organs in honey-like light and love,

Appreciating each one for the work that they do,

Blessing and thanking them along the way.

Continue to send the light down your legs and allow the relaxation to ground you deeper and deeper.

You're heavy,

And the light has brushed all the cobwebs of stagnation out of your body.

You're cleansed.

Sit for a moment,

Luxuriating in your radiant being.

Begin to imagine an orb within you,

Deep in your belly.

This is a casing for your very own happiest place.

You might imagine yourself on a beach,

The warm sun kissing your skin from above while warming the sand beneath you.

Or maybe you're in a forest with trees mighty and strong,

Giving you shelter from the rain.

Or perhaps your happiest place is in a cabin cozied up underneath a blanket with a fire blazing at your feet.

Wherever this happiest place is for you,

Imagine that you're there in as much clarity as possible.

What can you hear in this happy place?

Maybe birds?

Or a gentle breeze blowing through the trees?

Or fire crackling?

The lobs igniting?

Or maybe you hear the waves crashing along the shore.

The ebb and flow as they roar,

Crash down,

And recede back into the ocean.

What are the sensations that you're feeling?

Get as specific as you can.

Different body parts might be feeling different textures.

Sand,

Water,

Different elements.

And acknowledge each of them.

What can you smell?

It doesn't have to make sense.

You might be sitting on the beach,

Smelling the salty air,

But also smelling freshly baked cookies.

Whatever is comforting for you and makes this happy place that much more tangible is exactly right.

Imagine the colors and the sights of where are you.

The waves rolling in and crashing on the sand.

The light rays cascading through the branches and leaves of the trees.

Or the fire crackling and dancing at your feet.

You are safe and complete in this space.

You are perfect and whole,

Just as you are.

You are capable of anything and everything.

You have the tools necessary to learn to do anything.

You are whole.

You are complete.

You are capable.

You are resilient.

You are more than enough.

You are your fullest,

Most true version of yourself.

You are defined.

While still embracing the world that you're currently inhabiting,

Repeat these affirmations internally.

Or,

If you feel emboldened to do so,

Repeat them out loud,

Embracing each one for its truth.

I am safe.

I am whole.

I am capable.

I am resilient.

I am enough.

I have the tools I need to learn to do anything.

I am complete.

I am divine.

Sit in these truths as you celebrate the world that you've built and the affirmations that you've held for yourself.

Know that at any time,

You can drop into this space and remind yourself of these truths.

It may help to revisit them daily before work,

Or if you're feeling out of sorts and overwhelmed,

Or when you need to sit in your power and celebrate the awesomeness that you are.

This space is always here for you.

It may change as you visit,

But it's always safe.

And it is yours and yours alone.

You give it power and an exchange.

It helps you see your own.

Begin to send your focus out to your extremities,

Allowing your sense of touch and feeling to guide you back into the physical world.

Maybe moving your fingers and toes slightly,

Allowing that tactile sense to heighten your awareness.

Doing some gentle rolls of your ankles and your wrists.

And rolling out your shoulders and turning your neck from side to side.

Making little movements,

However you need to.

Take a few more breaths.

And as you're ready,

Slowly blink the eyes open and come back into your present space.

Open and aware.
