Begin by bringing your attention to your breath,
Lengthening and deepening your breath,
Beginning your inhale on the deep bottom of the belly and riding up the spine to complete the inhale at the top of your back with a gentle pinch in your shoulder blades,
Keeping your shoulders steady and relaxed.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
Exhale 4,
3,
2,
1.
Continue this deep steady 4 count inhale and 4 count exhale as we continue through this meditation.
As you continue to breathe and with your eyes open,
Notice,
Pay attention to your surroundings.
Notice any small bits of beauty in front of you at this moment.
The sunlight as it glistens off the petal of a flower.
The clouds that dance in amorphous shapes evolve.
Or a piece of art hanging on a wall in front of you.
Begin to pay attention to the things in your life that you are grateful for.
These could be small and seemingly insignificant things like the simple luxury of a cup of coffee or the weather outside.
Or they could be deeper connections like a loved one,
A family member or a friend.
Continue to think of these things that you are most grateful for.
Send a note of thanks to each and every one of these things and hold space for them with your breath.
You have abundant joy in your life.
You have abundant joy in this moment.
In this breath,
You are defining greatness.
Return once again to your breath and begin to breathe naturally once again.
Send a note of thanks to yourself for taking this time to practice meditation.
Remember,
Everything that you need in this life is with you now or well on its way.
Everything that you need in this life is with you now or well on its way.
In this moment,
In this breath,
You are living greatness.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
