This meditation will bring healing light and energy into the body, mind, and spirit. The Mudra: Press the pads of the thumbs, index, and middle fingers of each hand together. The pressure should be firm enough to produce great heat in the hands. The ring and pinkie fingers do not touch and are spread wide and down. Place the mudra a few inches in front of the Heart Center so that the thumbs point straight back toward the chest. The other two fingers point up and away from the chest at a 60-angle to the earth, and do not touch. Eyes and Focus: Close the eyelids. Roll the eyes upward so that they are looking at the top of the skull. Focus at the crown of the head and the flow of the breath. If you wish, you can imagine the healing light which flows with the breath. Breath: Breathe through the nose. Inhale as long and deep as possible and then suspend the breath as long as possible. Exhale as long and slow and complete as possible. This is known as conscious breathing for healing light.

This pranayama meditation will bring healing light into your body,

Your mind,

And your spirit.

By breathing consciously and expanding your lung capacity,

You'll bring in this healing energy,

This healing light.

Sit in a comfortable meditative position with a straight spine.

There's a mudra for this meditation.

Press the pads of the thumbs together.

Press the pads of the index finger and the middle fingers.

Press them hard.

The pressure should be firm enough to produce some heat in the hands.

The ring finger and the pinky finger do not touch and are spread wide and pointed down.

Do samudra a few inches in front of the heart center so that the thumbs are pointed straight back toward the chest.

The other two fingers point up and away from the chest at a 60 degree angle to the earth and do not touch.

The elbows are relaxed and a natural posture in towards the sides.

Do the best you can.

We do have an eye focus.

Close your eyelids.

Roll your eyes upward so that they are looking at the top of the skull.

Focus on the crown of the head and the flow of the breath.

If you wish,

You can imagine the healing light which flows with the breath.

For the breath,

Breathe through the nose,

Inhaling as long and deep as possible.

And then suspend the breath,

Hold the breath as long as possible.

And then exhale as long and slow and complete as possible.

This is known as conscious breathing.

We will begin together.

I will take you through a few cycles until you go into the natural flow of your own breathing.

Take a deep inhale.

Hold the breath.

Exhale long and slow and complete as possible.

One more time together before I release you into your own breathing rhythm.

Take a deep inhale.

Hold the breath.

Exhale long and slow and complete.

Completely let go of the exhale.

Now move with your own rhythm,

Bringing in this healing energy,

This healing light.

On the next deep inhale,

Become aware of the sound of my voice and hold as you gently exhale,

Release and let go as your body,

Mind,

And spirit are filling up with healing energy.

Enjoy practicing this meditation anytime you desire to bring in healing light,

Healing energy into the body,

The mind,

And the spirit.
