Become aware of your breath.

Often when we become aware of the breath,

It naturally starts to slow down and deepen and calm us down.

Bringing some peace to our inner state.

Let the awareness drop into the root,

Into the sit bones,

Tail bone,

Perineum,

And feel that connection between this part of your body and whatever you're sitting on.

In detail,

Can you feel your own sit bones?

You might visualize the very tip of your tail bone without necessarily knowing how that looks in there.

See if you can bring awareness to the idea of your tail bone.

Just to activate this area with our awareness,

We'll come into little circles.

With your hands on your thighs,

Whether you're seated in a chair or cross-legged,

Come into a little bit of circular movements with the upper body.

You can open the eyes and watch me,

Or you can just see how this wants to happen in your body with the cues you get.

Noticing how you shift the weight from one sit bone to the other,

What it feels like to be on the front of the sit bones,

The back of the sit bones.

Feel this area,

And let's illuminate this area with the color red,

The color of earth connection,

The most instinctual part of our nature,

Where we are the most earthly.

Our most earthly needs abound in this area.

Now let's reverse the circle.

Just start circulating your upper body in the opposite direction,

Keeping the awareness here,

Almost like you're sending energy into this area,

Hoping to communicate with this part of you that's deeply dependent on earth to nurture you.

The most basic needs that we have for water and food and warmth and shelter.

In more modern language,

The need we have for money to acquire the things that we need to keep the body safe and healthy and warm.

Come back into center and find again your grounding down through your sit bones and the gentle inner lift that sends the crown of the head up,

Still staying very focused on the root chakra,

The Mooladhara chakra,

Illuminating this area with the color red.

The most physical chakra of our body,

The groundedness,

The rootedness,

Or the lack of same,

And what happens when we're not grounded and rooted and we do not feel safe in the physical world.

Do you have an overall sense of security,

Of physical safety in this world?

Does your shelter,

Your home,

Provide this sense of shelter,

Protection,

Warmth?

Is the place you call home a place where you recharge,

Replenish your body,

Rejuvenate your body,

Where you sleep safely?

Is this a place where you feel truly at home?

We'll sink a little deeper into the word home and trace back to our family of origin,

Where our little physical body came into being,

First in our mother's womb and then helpless and defenseless as a tiny baby,

Depending completely on the care of the grown-ups around us.

And what is that relationship like?

The relationship with the people that brought you into this world,

Gave you a physical body.

Tune into the energy of your mother and tune into the energy of your father and how a little seed from each of them became the seed for your body and how what each of their lineages brought is also alive in you,

In the forms of beliefs about safety and security.

Now tune into your relationship with money.

Do you have enough?

Do you have plenty?

Is it scarce?

Does the energy of money flow freely in your life?

Do you feel safe enough to be generous?

Do you feel like something is owed to you or do you owe somebody something?

Does the energy of money seem to flow?

Are there areas of stagnancy,

Fear,

Density,

Blind spots?

What feelings arise when you hear the word money?

On a daily basis,

How do you support your physical structure,

Your physical body with nourishment,

With food?

You eat healthy light-filled foods that build your body.

Stimulants.

How does food impact your body?

What do you drink to replenish your body?

What would this area like to tell you about the sustenance that you give it?

Is there something that you need more of or less of?

When you tune into this area,

Illuminating it with the color red,

Bringing all your focus and awareness to this area,

Ask yourself,

Do you feel fundamentally safe and supported?

In the world?

When you're ready,

Reach for your notebook and jot down anything that came to mind.

Don't worry about the specific prompts.

The ones that were really meaningful to you will arise.

The most important information today will arise.

And if not,

Just tune back into this area and write down what needs to be known.

Each time I use this meditation, a new layer comes off as I gain further insights into myself on this plane. I often do this before bed and have intense dreams afterwards! Thank you so much! 🙏

Aptly named a Workshop. Excellent into to Chakras, meaning, with many points to jot down in the moment insights.
