You will want to be sitting up straight in a chair for the following exercise.

Begin by closing your eyes and take a nice,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Inhaling peace and exhaling love.

Inhale peace and exhale love.

Once more,

Inhale and exhale.

Bring your awareness now down to your feet.

Notice where they are placed upon the floor.

Feel them becoming heavier and heavier as you continue to slowly inhale peace and exhale love.

Feel your feet anchored to the floor below you.

Continue inhaling peace,

Exhaling love.

Imagine that you have roots sprouting from the bottoms of your feet and see them grow down into the floor,

Expanding down into the concrete and spreading down even further into the dirt,

The rock,

The sediment below you.

Like roots of a tree buried deep beneath the surface,

They grow bigger and stronger as they grow down,

Down,

Down into Mother Earth.

Inhale peace,

Exhale love.

Continue breathing slowly and imagine these roots plunging to the center of the earth where there's a beautiful light.

And imagine pulling this light up through the roots,

Up through the rock and sediment below,

Up through the concrete into your feet.

Inhale peace,

Exhale love.

Continue pulling this beautiful life force energy up into your legs,

Up into your pelvis,

In your stomach.

Imagine this light flowing through your chest.

Inhale peace,

Exhale love.

Notice the gentle warming sensation that it brings to your body as you relax even further now.

Inhale peace and exhale love.

And imagine this beautiful light moving up into your throat,

Up into your head and your face.

And as it touches every part of your being,

You are feeling completely relaxed and at ease.

Inhale peace,

Exhale love.

Know that you can come back to this space at any time simply by closing your eyes and bringing your connection to your breath.

Inhale peace and exhale love.

And as it touches every part of your being,

You are feeling completely relaxed and at
