Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat.
Maybe closing our eyes to create a shift from an outward focus to an inward focus.
Beginning to notice your breath easily flowing in and out of the body.
Giving ourselves just a little bit of time to settle in.
Becoming more and more relaxed and comfortable in our seat.
Giving ourselves permission to take this time for ourselves.
Letting go of any thoughts of hurry.
Just continually coming back to our breath as an anchor to this moment,
To this place,
To this seat.
As we shift from an outward focus to an inward focus,
We may notice some sensation in our body.
We try not to label any sensation as good or bad,
Just being aware of what is right now.
Resisting the urge to replay the story in our mind of why something feels the way it does.
As we do get caught up in some stories,
Which often happens during these moments of quiet,
We just simply redirect our awareness back to the breath,
Gently and easily.
And not trying to control or manipulate the breath in any way.
Just letting the breath be the breath.
Letting sensation be sensation.
And just starting to become the witness of all of it.
As sensation or thought tries to pull our attention,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
There is no struggle,
Just ease.
And with each breath,
We fall deeper into more relaxation,
More softness,
And more peace.
We can take a few more breaths in and out.
And setting the intention that we carry this feeling of softness and ease throughout the rest of our day.
And with each breath,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
And with each breath,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
And with each breath,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
And with each breath,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
And with each breath,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
And with each breath,
We just simply notice and move back to the breath.
