Hi,

This is Minao.

Welcome to Breaking Bad Habits – Inviting Self-Acceptance.

Many of us have bad habits that we may want to break.

We might have habits such as smoking,

Or eating,

Nail biting,

Or impossibly being angry.

This list can go on and on.

What is similar about all the items on this list is that in the process of labeling something a bad habit,

Self-judgment is involved.

We have a bad habit that we believe we cannot break.

But the truth is,

We all have an inner power that can guide us to doing anything that we desire.

Recognizing that the constraint is from within will enable you to recondition the behavior that you want to change.

The intention of this meditation is to release this self-judgment and enable oneself to easily let go of bad habits and invoke self-compassion,

Love,

And freedom.

The first step is becoming aware of the fact that through labeling something a bad habit,

There is self-judgment.

Take a moment to reflect on your habit and ask yourself,

What is the judgment that I carry?

This judgment will start with something simple such as a judgment on your temperament,

Physicality,

Or any other behavior or external factor.

Tap into what this judgment is.

I will pause for you to feel into this judgment in the context of your habit and to explore what you might be judging yourself on.

Now that you have become aware of your habit and your self-judgment,

Let's explore a bit further.

Let's understand the deeper meaning.

Judgment can be seen in two ways.

One way is that you are judging yourself and your trigger,

Looking at it from what is undesired.

However,

You can also look and try to acknowledge what is your deeper desire.

Let us explore and acknowledge the deeper meaning or the deeper desire behind your judgment.

Your self-judgment can lead you to understanding what you desire at a higher level.

For example,

If you are critical of your body,

You actually may be desiring self-worth,

Acceptance,

Self-love.

If you are critical of overindulgence of some form,

Drinking,

Smoking,

Or eating,

Your judgment is on your self-control and actually you may be desiring a higher connection with your sense of freedom.

Take the opportunity to dig further,

To build a deeper understanding of the deeper desire that your habit may be guiding you towards.

Sometimes it's hard for the ego to recognize the level of judgment that you carry within yourself.

It's okay.

Allow your mind,

Your body,

Your heart and ego to take the time it needs to disentangle from these judgments.

Acknowledge any emotions,

Stories,

Or feelings and thoughts that might arise as you feel into the deeper meaning of your self-judgment.

I will pause.

Wonderful.

Now at this point,

After becoming aware of your habit,

Exploring your self-judgment and acknowledging the deeper meaning of your judgment,

It is time to appreciate,

To celebrate,

To celebrate that your body,

Your actions,

Your habits,

Your activity,

Your judgment are all clues to help you disentangle from the human conditioning and for you to celebrate your uniqueness.

Look at that your body is telling you and appreciate your ability to grow and overcome any conditioned human patterns that no longer serve you.

Moving into appreciation on your journey,

Appreciation of your judgment and ultimately appreciation of the habit allows you to see it as an opportunity for growth and a catalyst for you to open yourself up to recognize your deeper desires,

Your desire for self-worth,

Your desire for freedom,

Your desire for happiness,

Your desire for love.

It is this habit that has led you to this moment,

This moment of self-awareness that has brought you this opportunity of growth.

This is powerful.

Until you see through your bad habit that this judgment is actually something to appreciate,

It's very difficult to release it as you will continue to have a judgment on it but once you recognize it,

It is a catalyst for your growth and you can recognize and appreciate these habits,

Your ability to modify your behavior will come naturally.

I'll give you a moment to just appreciate,

Appreciate yourself and appreciate the journey that has led you to this moment of acknowledging the deeper meaning behind every action and habit and judgment that you have held upon yourself.

I will pause.

Finally,

After becoming aware,

Acknowledging and appreciating,

You have the opportunity to release,

Release,

Release,

Release,

Release judgment on yourself,

On your habits,

On your self-worth,

On your body,

On your actions,

On anything that you hold against yourself.

Just release,

Release,

Release.

Take a deep breath in and release all the resistance that you connected with in any and all forms.

Take a deep breath in and release.

Take a deep breath in and release.

Breathe in freedom and release.

Breathe in self-love and release.

Breathe in worthiness and release.

There is a reason for everything you experience.

Life is purpose.

You are purpose.

The purpose of self-growth is one of the most beautiful,

Fundamental elements of our human experience.

Any habit is a perpetual reminder of an area within your human experience that is asking you for attention and self-growth.

This is powerful.

Acknowledging this power and appreciating your opportunity to grow.

I will pause to give you the opportunity to let these concepts calibrate within your body.

If you are so called,

Create any intention for yourself for today,

The week,

The month,

The year,

Or the remainder of your life.

I will pause.

Wonderful.

Detangling from this habit and judgment may be immediate or may take the time that is best for your highest good.

Time is irrelevant.

Let go of the judgment of time.

Honor the process.

Honor the unfolding.

Recognize that it is the journey of growth that is the beauty of life.

Let go of waiting for the outcome.

Just by virtue of the recognition that you have a habit you would like to break,

You are recognizing the self-judgment you may be carrying and the willingness to let go.

This is powerful and something to celebrate.

When your mind,

Body,

Heart,

And ego are aligned,

The process of shifting will be easy and empowering.

It is through becoming aware,

Acknowledging the deeper meaning,

Appreciating,

And release that ultimately allows your mind,

Body,

Heart,

And ego to become in alignment.

Allow these concepts to integrate as your day unfolds.

Feel free to return to this meditation as frequently as you desire until you recondition yourself to embrace your full self-compassion,

Love,

Worthiness,

And freedom.

Life is purpose.

You are purpose.

You are beautiful.

You are.

Enjoy your journey.

My love,

Always.

This got right through to me. An emotion rose to the surface. I felt it rise in my body through the Chakras to the throat - one tear - and then it slipped back down. I am slightly stunned. In a good way. I'll revisit until all becomes clear. Sending love and gratitude for your good work on our behalf 🙏🏻💞
