Humming is actually one of the most powerful ways and the simplest ways to ground and regulate our nervous system.
The frequency actually puts our body back into homeostasis,
It massages that vagus nerve,
Opens up the breath,
Slows down the heart rate,
Quiets that mental noise.
In just a few minutes,
We can open up your voice and completely shift your energy.
So let's begin.
Settling into a comfortable position,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Your jaw,
And just let your breath flow in and out through the nose.
On the next exhale,
We'll release a soft,
Easy hum,
Letting the vibration move from your face,
Down your throat,
And into the belly.
Inhale.
Going at your own pace,
Feel free to breathe in a way that feels good for you.
Inhaling.
Exhaling.
Don't worry about how the humming sounds,
In fact,
Any stuck energy in the throat is being moved each time you come back to this meditation.
So noticing what feels different,
More presence,
More activation.
