Practicing presence when we're feeling stuck, afraid, and tense in the body. Learning to stay with discomfort without trying to control it. When we feel frozen by pressure - this is the time to stop, get clear, and return to our self-trust. Permission to move before stillness. No fixing, just presence.

All right,

This is a body meditation where we get to just be present with ourself.

This is best used when we are having some sort of nervous system response,

When we are feeling stuck,

When we're feeling afraid,

When we're not sure what's blocking us,

But we can feel that our chest is tight,

Our shoulders are up,

And we are forcing us to figure something out.

We know there's something that is missing,

We know there's something that needs to be solved,

But we have exhausted our minds and there's a lump in our throat,

Just feeling like we can't get there,

We can't meet it,

The answers aren't coming.

This is the time to stop,

Get clear,

Remove the obstacles in our way,

Remove the pressures,

The overwhelm.

If you need to shake it out,

Then shake it out.

Often before I get still,

I need to move.

So stand up,

Shake your body,

Move your hands,

Swing your arms,

Kick your legs,

Crouch down,

Stand up,

Use fire breath,

Open the mouth,

Exhale,

Stick the tongue out.

Do what you need to move what's in motion.

Keep breathing.

Inhale in the nose,

Exhale at the mouth.

Jump,

Scream,

Yell,

Sigh,

Release.

And when you're ready,

Find some stillness.

You can just crouch down,

You can sit,

You can lie on the ground on a chair,

And you're going to place one hand on your chest and the other hand covering your eyes.

If you want,

You can rub the palms together before you do this,

Intentionally creating that heat,

That friction between the hands,

And place them on your body and on your head.

Be still.

Breathe deep.

This is what it is to be present,

To stay,

To listen.

Let the internal dialogue happen.

Who's showing up?

Who is scared?

What is she scared of?

Does she need reassurance?

Does she just need to be heard,

Held?

Keep breathing.

No fixing,

Just breathing presence.

Stay with it.

If you still need to move and shake,

Get up,

Shake,

Move,

Scream,

Dance,

Return to stillness when you're ready.

There's no rule,

Just listen.

When you're ready,

You can introduce the knowing and the facts.

This is inevitable,

This growth.

Letting go of this resistance will happen.

If you let it,

Believe in the inevitability that you are meant for great things.

Know that the timeline may not be up to you.

The how,

The details,

The certainty,

It might not come,

But it won't stop you.

Anchor into the knowing of who you are.

Anchor into the knowing of your heart.

How you lead yourself.

How you trust yourself.

You don't need certainty.

You don't need all of the answers.

You just had to move through the feelings,

The fear.

Rest your hands on your lap.

Take a few more deep breaths.

If the chest is still tight,

Practice holding the breath at the top.

You can stay here until the lump is gone in your throat.

Until the chest feels lighter.

Until your stomach relaxes.

Until the tears stop flowing.

Stay as long as you'd like.

And revisit this anytime.
