This is your 10 minutes of tranquility,

Your time to relax and unwind.

This meditation is focused on creating inner harmony by opening your heart and cultivating self-love and acceptance.

Firstly,

Find a quiet place where you are unlikely to be interrupted.

Make yourself comfortable.

Let your eyes gently close or set your gaze lightly on a spot on the floor in front of you or on a simple,

Peaceful object.

We will begin and end this meditation by bringing our awareness to the sounds of a chime.

To begin,

Simply start by taking a deep breath in,

Consciously breathing in relaxation and breathing out letting go of any tension.

Letting go of any tension or tightness in your body.

Breathing in relaxation and breathing out letting go of any tension in your body.

Rest your awareness on your heart.

Each in-breath you take nourishes you as your heart drinks in the precious oxygen.

Take another deep breath in,

Breathing in relaxation,

Breathing out consciously letting go of any tension or tightness in your body.

Just allow your breathing to go back to normal with no special effort required.

And let's check in to see how your body is feeling.

Do you have any aches or pains today?

Do you have any worries?

Or are you in eager anticipation?

What's the inner strength in your heart for today?

I'll read over a list of inner strengths you already have inside of you.

As I read the list,

See which inner strength resonates most with you and which one you would like to activate and spotlight for today.

Which one will you align your actions,

Words and behaviours with?

So allow these words to float by and select the one that you connect the most with.

Happiness,

Gratitude,

Affection,

Inner harmony,

Acceptance,

Patience,

Passion,

Authenticity,

Flexibility,

Humility,

Courage,

Tolerance,

Kindness,

Gratitude,

Respect,

Friendliness,

Enthusiasm,

Trust.

Select the inner strength that is right for you.

How could you use this inner strength in your life right now?

How could your words and actions reflect this inner strength?

What would you need to do to embody this inner strength in your life right now?

Now I'd like you to lightly call to mind your own good qualities.

What are you really proud of?

What touches your heart about yourself?

We are going to use these ancient well-wishes to reaffirm the goodness in your life and your heart.

In the silence repeat these phrases in your mind.

Now think of someone or something you love.

It may be a partner or a pet.

Think about what you love about them.

Now that you've cultivated these warm feelings of love,

Direct these feelings towards yourself.

May I be safe.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I live with ease.

Take a few deep breaths and feel these phrases in your heart.

Open your heart to be kinder to yourself.

May I be safe.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I live with ease.

Take this spirit of loving kindness with you and be kind and gentle to yourself.

I really liked this meditation. First I was asked about some qualities I like. Then I was asked what I loved about my pet or someone I loved . then I was asked to love those same qualities about myself . This is a very difficult thing for me to do. I generally don't have very positive feelings about myself. So thank you and blessings.

I got to work a little early than usual and decided to use the time for a quick meditation. I highly recommend this start to your day. I relaxed and opened my heart but the clear ending chime returned me to alertness without losing my peace. I feel stronger to face this day. Happy Friday! Thank you sister πŸ™
