This gentle practice invites you to settle the body with breath, notice sensations, and ground wherever you are. You will be guided to imagine a line of light rooting you into the earth and rising through the crown to the sky, opening a felt sense of connection. From there, the meditation softens into connection with self, the wider world and others, honouring all your human facets with kindness. It closes with a simple prayerful intention to carry steadiness and love into the day.

Good morning.

Welcome to this.

.

.

.

.

.

Today's mini meditation where.

.

.

.

.

.

We're just gonna hold space to center for the day.

Take some deep breaths.

Just settle into your physical body.

Have a little wriggle.

Just notice whether there are any aches or pains.

We've certainly got a few today.

They're transient.

They come and they go.

Just like feelings.

I invite you to.

.

.

.

.

.

Become grounded.

Just.

.

.

.

.

.

Think about being.

.

.

.

.

.

Rooted.

.

.

.

.

.

Wherever you are.

You might be on a yoga mat like me.

You might be sitting in a chair.

You might be on a bus.

You might be driving.

You might be outside walking.

Just allow.

.

.

.

.

.

Yourself to feel connected to the earth.

I'd like to envisage.

.

.

.

.

.

One line of light.

.

.

.

.

.

Connecting my.

.

.

.

.

.

Feet.

.

.

.

.

.

To the earth and my.

.

.

.

.

.

I'd like to think of it running.

.

.

.

.

.

All the way through me.

Coming out of the top of my head.

Connecting with.

.

.

.

.

.

With the sky,

With the.

.

.

.

.

.

Stars,

With the sun.

.

.

.

.

.

The ether.

.

.

.

.

.

With infinity.

I'd like to feel like.

.

.

.

.

.

That connection is drawing.

.

.

.

.

.

Strength from the earth.

.

.

.

.

.

And inspiration from the sky.

I'm mixing the two together in my body.

I'd like you to share in that feeling.

Just preparing ourselves for.

.

.

.

.

.

The day ahead.

Whatever.

.

.

.

.

.

Excitement.

.

.

.

.

.

Or challenges.

.

.

.

.

.

Or serendipitous moments.

.

.

.

.

.

Or difficulties.

.

.

.

.

.

Rely ahead.

When we're rooted to the earth.

.

.

.

.

.

And connected to the divine ether.

.

.

.

.

.

And tethered in ourselves.

.

.

.

.

.

It's so much easier.

.

.

.

.

.

To navigate what life.

.

.

.

.

.

Requests of us in this human plane.

I'd like to take a moment to.

.

.

.

.

.

Remember that.

.

.

.

.

.

Connection.

.

.

.

.

.

Connecting to the earth.

.

.

.

.

.

Connecting to the ether.

.

.

.

.

.

Connecting to ourselves.

.

.

.

.

.

And then.

.

.

.

.

.

The ultimate in connection.

.

.

.

.

.

Connecting to others.

.

.

.

.

.

Has the capacity to bring us ultimate joy.

These small moments of connection can be found.

.

.

.

.

.

In the lightest of things.

.

.

.

.

.

In the briefest of moments.

.

.

.

.

.

Little dances between eyes.

.

.

.

.

.

Little brushes between.

.

.

.

.

.

Humans.

.

.

.

.

.

Smiles.

.

.

.

.

.

Brief moments of witnessing.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's humanity.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's pain.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's greatness.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to create.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to be brave.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to weather suffering.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to heal.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to be.

.

.

.

.

.

Angry.

.

.

.

.

.

Imperfect.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to be.

.

.

.

.

.

Not the best version of ourselves.

.

.

.

.

.

Each other's capacity to become attached and obsessed.

.

.

.

.

.

And deranged.

.

.

.

.

.

But to acknowledge that.

.

.

.

.

.

There is always the.

.

.

.

.

.

The opportunity to return to wholeness.

.

.

.

.

.

And to reconnect.

.

.

.

.

.

With that safe space inside us.

.

.

.

.

.

That will guide us to the next right action.

I just want to take a moment to acknowledge.

.

.

.

.

.

And connect with.

.

.

.

.

.

Multifaceted.

.

.

.

.

.

Variations of all of our.

.

.

.

.

.

Human faces.

.

.

.

.

.

And feelings.

.

.

.

.

.

And honour them.

.

.

.

.

.

Give them space.

.

.

.

.

.

Invite the divine creator in to.

.

.

.

.

.

Help us.

.

.

.

.

.

Knit all of these threads together.

.

.

.

.

.

To integrate them.

.

.

.

.

.

So that we can feel whole today.

.

.

.

.

.

As we go out into the world.

.

.

.

.

.

And do our best work.

.

.

.

.

.

Bringing love into our daily actions.

I'd like to bring this meditation to a close.

.

.

.

.

.

With a prayer that is dear to me.

God.

.

.

.

.

.

Where will you have me go?

What will you have me do?

What will you have me say?

And to whom?

Amen.

Nicely paced, thought-provoking and very calming. Particularly liked the connections theme. Thanks very much
