I'm excited to share this one. Initially for those tough days, to embrace and work with the feelings, however, it's a good guided meditation to shift perspective and start the day feeling great. Uses somatic embodiment to soothe, calm adrenals, get in the body; cues to feel stronger, grounded, and safe in your life; an intuitive message from your own wellspring of wisdom at the end to carry with you all day. Let me know how you experience this one, I love hearing from each of you.

Take a comfortably seated position and begin with some deep breaths,

Expanding the belly,

Letting it out gently,

Slowly,

Taking a vigorous in-breath,

Expanding with completion,

And slowly release,

Allowing yourself to breathe deeply in this pace,

To anchor your body in this moment.

And now gently allow your breath to be natural.

I want you to imagine your thinking muscle,

The state of your brain in this moment,

And simply say yes.

Simply accept the state it's in.

Imagine your thinking muscle and the space it's in now and just allow it to be where it's at without judgment and with love.

Imagine that thinking muscle now relaxing,

Releasing,

Loosening,

Becoming more spacious like big open skies,

Relaxed and released.

Now move your attention to your eye sockets,

Your eye muscles,

Feeling them release,

Feeling them relax.

Moving gently to your jaw muscles,

Accepting the beautiful state they're in today.

People work with where they really are,

Imagining them now,

The muscle melting like a thick honey,

Gently releasing effortlessly,

Feeling that relaxed honey drip,

Heavy muscle release down your throat on the sides of your neck and letting your shoulders drop,

Release and melt.

Feeling your spine as a trunk of a tree anchoring into the space.

Feel that trunk anchoring into your seat,

Into the space you're in,

Into the earth's cross,

Deeper into the soil,

Deeper into the soil like roots of a tree lodging deep into the soil,

Into the depths of nourishment,

Feeling the nourishment from the soil traveling back up through the roots,

The riches,

The water,

The vibrancy of the soil that feeds everything,

Traveling through the roots up your spine,

Filling your body with a gentle balance,

Nourishment and energy.

Relaxing now into your breath,

Relaxing more into the space,

You're safe.

These moments are putting you in a cup,

We're safe and all that you have in your mind and in your day,

You're safe in this moment and you're safe.

Imagine now warm loving person holding you,

An amalgamation of people or specific where you older,

Holding you,

Rocking you,

Holding you with such strong arms you can melt in those arms and release and relax.

You're soothed,

You're safe.

Let go here into the rocking,

Into the release,

Into your gentle breath that travels through the body like a sweet massage.

You're safe in this warm strength of arms,

You're held,

Your heart and your worries are heard and held for you,

You're received.

Relaxing deeper into your seat,

Heavier in your body,

Feeling the spaces in your body that have increased in relaxation,

So places we focus on grow,

So focus on the delight,

Focus on the relaxed areas now.

Now imagine a time where you felt so safe,

Maybe on vacation or at a cabin next to a fire with a book and tea and nowhere to be and nothing to do and the whole day or days on end carved out just to do things you love.

Imagine you're in your favorite activity,

Sport,

Dance.

Feel some of those sensations of being in those safe,

Relaxed flow state places.

Where do you feel the comfort in your body now?

Was there an area where it's glowing gently or feeling the sensation of enjoyment in your body now?

You'll close with that being held sensation.

Physically take your hand to your heart,

To your arms wrapped around your body.

Hold yourself and squeeze in yourself now and send yourself a little message,

A little message you intuitively know you need to hear now.

And when you're ready,

Take some deep or slow but slightly vigorous breaths to bring yourself back into your seat and into the room,

Into your body in the room,

Always anchoring your experience in the body.

Continue with deep breaths until you're ready to start your day.
