To balance your chakras, it is important to understand how they affect us when they are out of balance. This talk will help identify an overactive or underactive solar plexus chakra and offer tips on how to help yourself come into alignment.

This is Louise Houghton with Stardust Wellness.

If your solar plexus chakra is out of balance,

You may find yourself lacking in motivation and purpose,

Feeling depleted with low energy and nothing you can do with naps,

Sleep or nutrition can re-energize you.

Physical symptoms of a blockage in your solar plexus could include digestive issues,

Upset stomach,

Bloating or leaky gut syndrome.

With all of the stresses of everyday life,

Trying to achieve,

Trying to be assertive,

Trying to succeed,

It's very normal that this chakra becomes out of balance.

It can become overactive or underactive.

And this talk will help you realign and rebalance the central chakra of the body.

In the opposite way to an underactive chakra,

Meaning that you are lacking in motivation and productivity,

An overactive chakra in the solar plexus could mean that you are running on overdrive,

But never feeling like you're getting to the end of the treadmill.

Balancing this chakra will enable you to live your life more efficiently,

More in flow,

With ease in everything you're thinking,

Saying and doing.

It's important with this chakra to look at the other ones surrounding it,

For if they are blocked,

The energy from this one is not able to flow in the same way.

In order to stabilize your solar plexus chakra,

Think of the color yellow.

Envisage this bright,

Calming,

Warm color and let it flow throughout your body.

Maybe bring in foods of this color,

Like banana and pineapple,

Anything that's vibrant and bright.

If you feel like your chakra is overstimulated and overactive,

Be careful of too many spices and foods that are hot,

Stoking that fire that's within you.

Think of chamomile and calming foods and scents like that,

That will bring you back into balance.

As with chamomile,

Some other essential oils that you might want to bring into your environment could include lemon,

Lemongrass,

Peppermint,

Cardamom.

And you can also support the chakra with crystals like tiger's eye,

A stone of confidence.

This is great if your chakra is underactive.

Amber calcite,

Citrine and sunstone are also crystals that support this chakra,

Offering you immunity,

Vitality,

Strength and manifestation to really hone in to this area of confidence in your body and bring you back into alignment.

Try bringing all of these different elements into your environment.

If your chakra is underactive,

You could even try lighting a fireplace or a candle that gives some yellow orange light and stokes a little bit of fire,

Helping the confidence within you to grow.

As this area is so commonly associated with digestion,

Make sure that you have a balanced diet,

Balancing your blood sugar levels and making sure that you don't snack too often in order to stoke the fire constantly.

Allow yourself to have a calm environment for your body with the nutrition that you feed your body to,

Allowing yourself to come back into balance,

To come back into productivity,

Not overworked and burnt out or underproductive.

A balanced solar plexus chakra enables you to feel confident in everything that you're doing throughout the day,

Allowing you to work efficiently with balance and calm functionality in the body.
