A meditation to help rebalance the sacral chakra. Using the element of water associated with this 2nd chakra and the colour of orange, this guided meditation will help you reconnect to yourself and your feelings and manifest something new into your life.

This is Louise Houghton with Stardust Wellness.

Welcome to this sacral chakra meditation.

A meditation to help you rebalance and realign this second chakra of the body found just below the belly button.

I invite you to get into a comfortable position either seated or laying.

If seated you're welcome to use the mudra which aligns with this chakra.

Placing the left palm underneath the right and cupping them in your lap with your thumbs touching.

If laying down you're welcome to put your hands just below your belly button focusing on this particular area of the body.

And when you're ready close your eyes.

We'll begin by taking three relaxing breaths.

Breathing in through the nose deep down into the belly button into this area of the body that we're focusing on today.

And letting it go through the mouth.

Breathing in deep through the nose with the chest open and then down into the belly button.

And breathing out through the mouth.

And lastly one more time in through the nose deep into the belly button.

Sip in a little more air and let it out through the mouth.

And I invite you now to envisage the colour orange.

The colour associated with the chakra of the body.

Allow this colour to appear as a ball of light just below your belly button.

With every breath feel this orange ball of energy expand out all over the body.

When you breathe in maybe it contracts a little.

So breathing out letting it expand over the body.

Breathing in coming back to focus on this sacral chakra of the body.

With every breath allow that ball of light to get bigger to get wider.

Does it encompass the whole body yet?

Allow the next breath to stretch out that light so that your whole body is encased within this ball of orange energy.

And breathing in bringing it back to focus below the belly button.

Taking that ball of light out so wide that it reaches your entire house.

And back in again.

Let this orange energy with this breath go so wide as the entire town or city that you live in.

And bringing it back to yourself.

This time letting it stretch out as far as the edges of the country that you live in.

And coming back to yourself.

And this time letting it go all around the world.

Feel this orange light encompassing the entire globe with the out breath coming back to yourself.

Letting it expand into the universe.

And coming back to yourself to this place to this moment to this time.

I now invite you to visualize some water.

Some gentle running water.

Be that in a pool.

Be that in a bath.

Be that a waterfall or a river.

Or the ocean waves.

Feel the flow of this water surrounding you.

Feel your body encompassed within this water.

Feeling some flow and gentleness as if you were floating.

As if you were free in this water.

The element of the sacral chakra is water.

And so it's important to allow ourselves to come back into balance,

To balance the ying and the yang,

The masculine and feminine energy.

As we cleanse the chakra with this element of water.

And we'll now allow it to wash all over our body.

As we visualize this water coming down from the tops of our heads,

Washing all over our face.

Coming down across our eyes,

Our nose,

Our mouth.

Feeling it come across our necks and our shoulders,

Going down our backs and our chests.

Feeling this water flow over our body as we release any tension we may be feeling as we indicate where the water is flowing.

Allowing it now to wash over the stomach,

Over the back and the spine at the same time as it comes down over the pelvis and the hips.

Not forgetting the arms at the same time as it washes down the thighs and over the knees,

The calves,

The shins.

And reaching the feet,

The heels,

The soles of the feet and the toes.

Feel free if you're seated to move a little in this flowing water.

Allow yourself to gently move out any stagnant energy that you may be feeling.

And flow like we want our creativity to do from this particular area of the body.

Opening up this chakra will allow us to better let go.

Will allow us to be more in touch with our inner feelings,

Connecting to ourselves so that we can better connect with others.

Feeling this water element flow all over us is a powerful way to be able to allow any stagnant energy to move.

And now from this flowing place,

I invite you to imagine something that you'd like to see in your life.

Be that a person,

A position at work,

A travelling situation,

Whatever it is,

Envisage an action that happens right after you get this thing you want.

For example,

If it's a baby that you're after,

You could envisage the action of everybody coming to see the baby for the first time.

If it's a promotion that you're looking for at work,

You could envisage people congratulating you after you've heard the good news.

Whatever it is,

Envisage that action and take a moment to really feel how that feels.

Feel that emotion coming into the body.

Connect to that emotion.

Bring that feeling in.

How does it feel to have what you want?

The sacral chakra of the body is attuned with your creativity,

Is attuned with your reproductive organs,

Is attuned with a sense of letting go and connecting to self.

And so with this manifestation,

We allow ourselves to connect to our true feelings when we get what we want.

And when we come into alignment,

The things that we want to manifest are easier to bring into our lives.

Taking another moment to continue once again to feel that feeling that you get when your dream has become a reality.

Just go over it one more time,

Repeating that feeling,

Repeating that action right after you get what you want.

And coming back now to this color of orange and focusing just below the belly button once again with your hands on that area of the body.

Just gently allow yourself to feel the energy from your hands going inside.

To gently feel the kindness that you're able to give yourself in this moment.

Knowing that we are our own best friends.

Knowing that only us can support ourselves in the best way that we know how.

Knowing that only us can make the decision to take care of ourselves.

And by taking care of ourselves,

We're able to better serve others.

So feeling this moment that you've given yourself of self-care and of self-love,

Allow yourself to come back into the room gently.

Be aware of your surroundings and start to deepen your breath.

Bringing your hands now with your thumbs and your third eye between your eyebrows for clarity of thought.

Bringing your hands now with your fingertips to your lips for thoughtfulness of speech.

And your hands in prayer to your heart for consistency of action,

Allowing this practice to guide you through everything you're thinking,

Saying and doing.
