Transcript

Get yourself comfortable on a seat.

Feel your feet flat on the floor.

Feel the weight of your body on the chair and rest into your body.

With a gentle deep breath in,

Flow your awareness into your body.

It's as though you're following your breath in and as you breathe out,

Relax and let your muscles relax and let go.

Feel them dropping,

Letting go of the burdens of the day.

So breathing in and breathing out in your own time.

As you're breathing in,

Flow your awareness right into your body.

So follow your in-breath in.

As you're breathing out,

Sigh,

Let go.

Feel your muscles relaxing.

Feel your muscles sighing with relief as you make the decision to really rest your body and your mind.

Continue on with this breathing for a few moments.

Now with the breathing,

Again continue that awareness of flowing into your body with the in-breath but as you breathe in,

Just move your shoulders back.

You can have your hands up beside you a little,

Your arms outstretched if you want and feel your shoulders moving back so that your chest almost pushes forward and really opens out.

It's a slightly exaggerated movement but feel the opening of your chest as you breathe in and flow your awareness into your body.

And then as you breathe out,

Perhaps bow your head a little bit,

Bring your shoulders,

Make sure your shoulders are down but bring them in and your hands to the front of your body so that you curve around slightly and come into a smaller space with your body and really let the air flow out of your lungs.

So continue on with that for a moment,

Opening up your chest with your arms expanded as you breathe in.

Just closing your chest a little,

Just making less room in the space for your lungs so that the air has to move out as you breathe out.

Breathing in,

Opening up as though you're looking up and out to the world and the universe and opening up to joy and new experiences.

Breathing out,

Bringing your arms in and your hands to the front of your chest as your head bows a little and the air flows out of your body as you're breathing out so that now you are in prayer position as you let go of the breath.

Continue on with that for a moment in your own time.

Now letting your arms rest again and letting go of the awareness of your breathing.

Make sure your shoulders are relaxed and your arms are resting.

Just breathing gently in and out but let the breath do its own thing a little bit now.

Just want you to flow your awareness into your body.

Feel yourself dropping right down into the core of you.

Feel yourself flowing through that relaxed and expanded chest,

Flowing down through your abdomen and right down into the core of you at the Dantien.

Between three and five fingers width below your belly button.

For men it's about three,

For women four or five.

About five fingers width below your belly button.

Bring your awareness back towards the back of your body so that you're resting halfway between the front and the back of your body in the core of your pelvis in this power center.

Feel the energy,

The calm,

The connection and the peace of just resting here in the very core of your own being.

Feel a light here and feel that light glowing and expanding and filling you and surrounding you.

Coming from that very core of you.

Flow it down through your legs as well.

Flow it right down into the earth.

Feel it spreading out like the roots of a tree.

Two or three meters into the earth so that you're very grounded,

Centered,

Connected to the mother earth,

Connected to other people.

Connected to a community of people who care,

Who are compassionate,

Who are supportive and loving and kind.

Feel this light filling you,

Supporting you,

Holding you and protecting you.

The epicenter is in the core of your body.

As you rest here,

Feel yourself really fully grounded in that center and feel the energy and the light flowing from that space.

And allow now anything to arise from there.

An intuition,

Some wisdom.

It might be body wisdom.

It might be an awareness around relationships or your feelings.

It might be a brilliant,

Creative idea.

Rest here in this brilliant space and allow that to rise.

If you feel yourself going into thinking space,

Popping up into the busyness of those thoughts that distract or criticize or create confusion,

Just allow yourself to flow back down into this beautiful,

Peaceful,

Powerful core in the very core of you.

And as you hear this wisdom or feel this wisdom or see it,

It may come to you in many different ways.

It might come to you later in the day or in the middle of the night or when you wake up in the morning.

Just allow that to settle into you.

Write it down so that you can remember it.

Try to keep the thoughts and the how-to's out of it.

Just allow the wisdom itself to settle into your being.

Know that this space is deeply intuitive.

Know that this is the heart of you.

And what comes from there will be powerful,

It will be beautiful,

It will be affirming and constructive.

It will never be controlling,

Critical,

Judgmental or destructive.

And know that the more that you tune into this space,

The more that you practice dropping home,

The more that intuition and wisdom will come to you.

And the more you listen to it and follow through on it,

Again the more it will arise and with ease and with joy.

Welcome it.

So now holding this space here in the heart of you,

Know that it's always here and you can connect into it and help to strengthen its presence in your life at any time.

Just breathing in and out now,

Feeling the weight of your body on the chair,

Feeling your feet on the floor.

Open your eyes when you're ready so that you can go about your day still connected to this beautiful strengthening,

Calm space within you.

Still connected to that voice of power and wisdom.

Still connected to that energy and joy.
