Good morning and welcome to your morning meditation.

I invite you to start by taking some deep breaths,

Breathing into the body and waking up the body.

And as you move into a natural breathing pattern that's right for you,

I next invite you to bring to mind three things that you feel grateful for.

And this might be the bed that you're sleeping in,

It might be the breath that has carried you from the night into the day.

And perhaps it's being grateful for the health of the body that you have.

So just taking a moment and thinking of those three things that you feel grateful for.

And just noticing if there's a shift in the way that you're feeling when you bring these things to mind.

It's also okay if these are the same three things every day.

But setting yourself up from this place of gratitude and centering yourself in your breath will allow you to move through the day and understand that you can come back to the breath and back to this feeling of gratitude at any time throughout the day.

So as you move out into the world today,

I invite you to notice especially in any times of difficulty that you can return to these points and just noticing the shift when you do.

And you can also remind yourself of everything that you've achieved so far,

Everything that you have been through so far.

And remind yourself that you can overcome anything that you need to.

And that you can grow and expand and achieve anything that you need to.

You can always return to self and back to the understanding that nothing needs to change beyond this moment that you're in right now.

The feeling of this moment and the presence of this moment.

Remembering that everything is as it should be.

And as you move throughout the day,

One thing that can make it easier for you is to express compassion to others and to yourself.

So practicing self-compassion.

Understanding that the strangers,

The people you know and love and even the people that you find difficult throughout the day,

Just like you are probably waking up now hoping for a lovely day,

Hoping for health and happiness,

Hoping for peace and to be free from suffering.

So just remembering how similar you are to others.

Remembering your interconnectedness with others can really help you move through the day.

And I invite you also to see where you might spread some kindness or compassion in your day today.

So just remembering those things.

That the breath is constant.

That you always have things that you can be grateful for.

And that nothing needs to change beyond this moment.

And that we are all connected.

We are all similar in our hope to be healthy,

At peace and free from suffering.

So just returning to the breath now and centering yourself.

Reminding yourself of this central point that you can come back to at any time today.

Taking another moment to be grateful for the breath,

For carrying you through this meditation and for its ability to carry you through this day ahead of you.

And as you head out into the world today,

Remembering that everything is as it should be.

Thank you and have a lovely day.
