Welcome to this space.

Just take a moment to get yourself a little bit more comfortable.

If you're sitting down,

Maybe grab a cushion,

Shift and rock from side to side.

Center yourself.

If you're lying down,

Maybe just stretch your legs,

Wiggle your toes,

Gently rub down the back of your neck.

Start by taking a big deep breath in,

Holding at the top and then exhaling.

Another big deep breath in,

Inhale,

Belly rise,

Exhale,

Belly fall.

Slowly start to notice the sounds around you at this moment as you continue with your deep slow breathing.

All the thoughts that enter your mind right now,

File them away in your imaginary filing cabinet as each new one enters,

Lovingly file it away.

Now is the time for you.

Nothing else right now matters more than you do.

Deep breath in and out.

As you keep breathing,

Notice how you feel right now.

What's the strongest emotion that's shining through?

Is it sadness,

Anger,

Frustration,

Joy?

Inhale,

Belly rise,

Exhale,

Belly fall.

As you start to think about how it is that you're feeling,

Just gently rock from side to side.

Run an imaginary scanner down your body from your head to your toe,

Scanning that white light checking in on every part of your body.

Where do you notice pain right now?

Are there any places that feel tingly?

Does anything desire to be touched,

Stroked?

I want you to imagine something that makes your heart joyful and happy,

A memory,

A moment,

A snapshot in time.

Bring that memory right to the forefront of your mind.

It could be a memory of a beautiful walk along the beach with your family.

It could be a visit to a local waterfall.

Or it could be a campfire where you had laughter and friends and family.

Think of that memory.

Imagine the colours.

What are the sounds that you hear as that memory plays?

Could be the flicker of the fire as it burns through wood.

Could be the laughter of your friends or your family.

Could be the coo of a distant bird tucking itself in for the night.

Or the gentle hum of the cicadas as dusk falls.

Inhale,

Belly rise.

Exhale,

Belly fall.

Let the gates of your heart flood open with the joy and the warmth from the memory.

Let that love trickle out into your bloodstream.

Let it flow all the way around your body,

Taking with it its renewing energy light.

Feel it heal your body at a cellular level.

Send those thoughts of love and warmth and healing energy.

Send it soaring around your body.

Your mind is that powerful.

Deep breath in.

Holding at the top.

And out.

Notice how you feel right now.

Notice if your body feels lighter.

If your mind feels freer.

Put your hand on your heart.

How is it beating?

Feel the rhythm of your heart.

You can gently rock back and forth.

Bringing yourself back to notice the current sounds around you.

What are you most grateful for right now in this moment?

Could be this moment exactly as it is.

It could be your home.

It could be the family and friends that love and care for you deeply.

Even being grateful for this new day and everything that has unfolded or that may unfold.

Inhale,

Belly rise.

Exhale,

Belly fall.

Stretch up your arms.

Give your hands a little shake.

Give your body a little squeeze.

Start to flicker open your eyes.

Today is going to be a good day and you are loved.

And you are cared for.

By your family,

By your friends and by the universe.

Namaste.
