Hello and welcome to five minutes in nature with me Liz Scott and every day I am bringing you an update from my pilgrimage,
A pilgrimage across England following the Michael and Mary energy currents and today I've had the company of my sister and it's really been quite special um reflecting and seeing different views and landscapes and going to different places with her and we started at Los Witheal church where there is the font that is a node point there's a crossing point to the Michael and Mary energy currents and I was so pleased that the church was open so that my sister could go in there and it was a few hours later we met up with my husband for a cup of tea on our walk where she explained that touching a particular almost like a gargoyle like head figure that was carved into the font that she had felt almost like this vibrational energy and I was struck because that was exactly the word I had felt and had come to me when I too had touched the font it was it was extraordinary and here we are now at the end of our walk so it's Los Witheal start and we're finishing here at St Neott up on Cornwall's edge of Cornwall's Bodmin moor and it's a church dedicated to another Cornish saint all these unusual Cornish saint names and the Michael energy runs through the church it looks like the church is closed we're a little bit late getting here now but before we came down here we were at a place called Goon's Iron Down and there's a tumulus up there where the Michael energy goes through and a tumulus I'm not exactly sure what it is but it is a mound and there was something extraordinary as we stood on that mound both of us felt it a sacred ground a sacred place and I guess today my reflection is about sharing a pilgrimage whether it's a walking pilgrimage or a pilgrimage in your life with someone that you know and love and trust there is something about having someone alongside you that doesn't judge you that listens and you want to listen to them in turn that's the clock striking half past five in the background and and one of the things we were talking about today was just reflections on the grieving process that we've both experienced as our dad died last year from dementia and it's been so special talking to somebody who has had a similar experience of the death of of our dad but has experienced grief in such a different way and just sharing that with her and hearing her experience and being able to express my experience has been so special for me it makes a lot of sense to remind myself of the importance of finding of finding people in my life that I want to share life with share precious and special experiences in life my sister as we were standing in the Michael energy on the tumulus at Goons Eye and Down my sister just turned to me and said you were doing exactly the right thing and she really gets that what I'm doing is I'm drawn to it in a way that I can't express how or why and she gets that and it really does something for me to have somebody in my life that just sees me as I am and understands that I'm being drawn to something and to engage in something that makes sense well it doesn't make sense at an intellectual level and yet it makes sense at some deeper spiritual level and I guess my question that I'm left with today as you go through your pilgrimage your pilgrimage of life is to ask the question who have you got in your life who have you got that you can trust who can you be to somebody else to listen in a non-judgmental way to really try and understand them to listen to them and to be present to how they actually are the more we're able to build relationships like this in our lives the more enriching our lives will be in the lives of others will be my request to you is to consider how you might reach out to someone in your life and whether there's someone you can trust to support you in the pilgrimage of your life
