Standing at what feels like a sacred spot by the White Lady Waterfall in Devon, Liz reflects on how modern humanity has lost its connection to the field of consciousness. On the twelfth day of her pilgrimage along the Michael and Mary energy currents, she senses that our ancestors likely had a much deeper ability to connect with the spiritual world.

Hello and welcome to Five Minutes in Nature with me Liz Scott.

And today I am walking on my pilgrimage,

Still exploring the Michael and Mary energy currents and you can probably hear I'm beside water today.

I'm actually standing beside the River Lyd and to my right,

As I look up,

There is the White Lady waterfall that cascades down the gorge here,

Over rocks.

It's quite a gentle waterfall and it's like a ribbon of white as it comes down with the bubbles in the water and gathers in a pool below it which then the stream feeds into the River Lyd itself and it's quite hypnotic actually just to watch the waterfall.

It's so stunning in its spectacle.

I guess if it was a house,

It would probably have about three levels to it,

Something like that.

It's quite a steep drop and I am following the Michael energy current today.

So I've been to Brentore Church and the Michael energy current doesn't quite go through the church but it goes through the rock right beside the church.

Brentore Church is built on a rocky outcrop.

It's very spectacular to see.

You can see it for miles around.

It really is quite a landmark.

And when you stand on the top of the rock and you look down in a private field below which I wasn't able to go to,

That's a node point.

There was a node point there where the Michael and Mary energies cross over.

So I wasn't able to visit that.

But I met up with a friend who is a more proficient dowser than I am and he brought his dowsing rods and showed me the width of the Michael energy current which is a good 40 paces I would say at that point.

And we just discussed his understanding of energy currents and ley lines and shared some ideas and his idea very much is that they're part of consciousness.

They're almost like a network of veins or nerves that go through the living earth.

So the living earth is alive or the earth is alive and then there is this field of consciousness and the energy currents are movements of this field of consciousness.

And the truth is I don't really know what I think but I do get a sense that there are points along the way and this is actually one of them by the waterfall here where I do get a sense of the sacred,

A sense of reverence and the Michael energy line comes very close to this waterfall and travels up the river Lyd on its way to Lydford.

And as we were speaking it just occurred to me that there is so much we don't know.

We are very advanced aren't we as humankind.

We've got aeroplanes and computers,

Automation,

We can write,

We've got libraries,

We've got the ability to look things up on the internet.

But actually we lack something that I think has been lost and maybe it's been lost because we've spent so much time sharpening our intellect and our ability to collect and gather knowledge.

And I think what we've lost is this ability to connect with this conscious energy field,

Whatever that might be,

And to interact with it in a way that maybe our ancestors were able to.

There was less of a distinction between the spiritual and the physical world.

That's kind of what I see in what my friend who is a dowser was saying and it really does make sense to me.

And I feel a bit of sadness really because for me places like this are not just places you walk to take a photograph of and then go and get a cup of tea.

They're places that have a sense of ancientness about them,

A sense of sacredness about them.

There's something about being present,

Being in the energy that is here.

And for me that's so important that we have those moments in our life where we realise we know so little.

We know so little.

We have access to a wealth of information but the truth is we actually know so little.

And I wonder what it would be like if we once again were able to wake up to this ancient knowledge,

This ancient wisdom,

This ancient field of consciousness,

The energy lines,

The currents of energy in the earth.

What would it be like if we were able to reconnect with those again?

As you can probably tell I'm right on the edge of my understanding of any of this.

I just know that I've been called deeply within to engage in this journey,

This pilgrimage.

And so my intention is to keep walking and to keep asking questions and to keep being curious.

I so agree with your sentiments today. I fear the original novelty and now the expectation of immediacy has eroded the use of intuition and building up knowledge over time. We need to find time for slowness, immersion and intuitive thinking over the "quick fix" of modern life.

Beautiful and profound message. Thank you for sharing this journey with us! I’m so enjoying each glimpse and am learning a lot. I never knew these energy currents even existed!
