On the thirtieth day of her pilgrimage, Liz continues to follow the flow of the Mary and Michael energy currents. Today, she contemplates the union and harmony between pagan and Christian traditions, both of which resonate deeply with her. As she recalls standing atop a pagan mound within a churchyard, she sees it as a symbol of the interplay between these two spiritual paths—each offering valuable wisdom for her journey of growth and understanding.

Hello and welcome to Five Minutes in Nature with me Liz Scott and today you find me on the 30th day of my pilgrimage as I walk across England following the energy lines of the Mary and Michael currents and I've come to Ogbourne St George.

I've walked from Avebury today to Ogbourne St George which is the end point and the energy current goes right through the church here and that's the energy current of the Michael line so I'm going to see if the church is open and just spend a bit of time in the church which I'm very much looking forward to at the end of my day.

And this has been a day of beautiful weather,

Sunshine,

Quintessentially English.

There's been a lot of wealth in the area that I walked through today.

The Marlborough and Marlborough College.

Marlborough College is where Kate Middleton went to apparently.

She's now married to Prince William so she's a Princess of Wales.

There's a just a sense of affluence here and the villages I've walked through have all had that sense as well and it's lovely.

It's gentle,

It's genteel,

There's a real lovely feel to it and one of my sort of standout moments of the day was walking through something called or a place called Lockridge Dean.

It was walking through a place where the sarsen stones were taken.

So these are the grey stones that were used both at Avebury for the stone circle at Avebury and they were used as well for Stonehenge and in this the two or three fields I walked through,

There's public access through them,

You can see these grey stones dotted all about the field like boulders.

They're also known as grey weathers w-e-t-h-e-r-s and a grey weather is a sheep and sure it almost like it looked like there are these grey backed sheep that you could see in the field as you were walking towards them.

And there was something very special about the atmosphere in that place.

The book I'm reading,

The dowser who dowsed the energy lines,

He said that the Michael energy line goes through that valley where the boulders are and it made me think that there's every likelihood that that place had a certain feel to it and the stones were somehow imbued with the current of the Michael current that maybe made them sacred,

Made them be selected for the use that they were put to when the stone circles were built.

And I've also visited a node point today,

That's where the currents cross and that was at a place called Ogbourne St Andrew and a very distinctive place,

There's a pagan mound right beside the church and the energy currents cross there.

So I climbed the mound and placed a feather there,

That's what my sort of,

What I do is I pick up a feather during the day and then place it at a point that feels appropriate and that was one of the times it felt appropriate and looked at the church and the Mary energy current comes right through that church and through the the mound itself and that's the crossing point.

And I suppose my reflection today,

I was brought up a Christian in the Christian tradition and I haven't turned my back on the church,

Not at all,

I've just found that the message of the church,

Of the churches I went to just didn't land for me and so I've not really engaged with organised Christian religion for many many years and I know that a part of this journey for me seems to be finding a fusion of my absolute connection with nature,

The natural world and the old world,

The ancestors,

That I feel had such wisdom with the earth and also that fusion with Christianity,

With the Christianity as I understand it.

And so standing on that node point,

On this burial mound,

Pagan burial mound in a churchyard,

So basically there was the pagan and the Christian side by side,

It just somehow felt that at some level,

I can't even intellectually tell you what level,

But at some level there is some fusion occurring for me that is bringing these two ways,

The Christian way and the pagan or the natural nature way together.

And I'm just curious,

I'm not really overthinking it at all,

But I'm just curious to see how that will manifest for me in my journey.

So I'm going to leave you for today,

It's been a beautiful day,

A beautiful spring day in England and I'm going to visit the church here and then start day 31 tomorrow.
