In this first meditative weekly tarot talk, I will pull three cards that hold themes and messages for the upcoming week ahead. I will give you a mini reading and describe each card in detail and what this could mean for you and your own life. The tarot messages are meant for self-reflection, spiritual guidance, and introspection. While interpretations can vary, I can provide you with a general overview of the messages of the three cards I pull for the week ahead, allowing you to cultivate a grounded perspective on whatever you may face.

This is your tarot card meditation.

I will pull three tarot cards and hopefully the three resonate with you in some way,

But they're mostly not meant to tell the future.

They're not meant to say this is definitely going to happen.

It's more of to meditate on the themes and see where they come up in your life and really ask yourself,

Where,

Where are the lessons?

Where's the wisdom here?

So with that,

Let's go ahead and dive on in to shuffling our deck.

So the first card that I pulled is the nine of wands.

In the nine of wands and for,

And specifically for this,

For most tarot art,

You will see someone who is either fighting other people off or is standing confidently almost as if to say,

I am victorious.

I am strong.

I fought for where I am today.

I am here and I am alive.

When I see the nine of wands,

I always think of,

Um,

The Kelly Clarkson song,

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

And in the nine of wands,

It has that theme.

It has that theme of fighter.

Thank you for making me a fighter.

And it's not in a way that's,

Or I hope,

Or I invite you to not do it in a way because sometimes,

You know,

The cards tell stories.

It can sometimes be a little bit too fiery or too abrasive or too aggressive.

So I feel in this,

In this talk,

In this meditative tarot experience,

I want to dive into being proud of how far we've come,

Being proud of the things that sometimes challenge us,

The things that hurt us sometimes make us stronger.

If we feel that we have been hurt in the past,

And this is something that happens a lot,

Instead of the hurt,

Making us bitter,

How do we allow the hurt to just simply make us stronger,

Make us wiser for the future?

So if you are thinking about how you are a fighter in your own life,

Maybe fighting for what you believe in,

Fighting for your home,

Your family,

How can you do it in a way where you are the wise warrior,

Someone who is like the lotus,

Who has come from a lotus flower,

Comes from muck,

Comes from swamp,

And then emerges into this beautiful flower.

So that's more of what my take on the Nine of Wands,

The warrior within the Nine of Wands.

It's if people are coming at you,

How do you do your best to take that energy,

Almost like a Zen master,

And use it in a way that sets healthy boundaries,

But still inspires the action of,

Hey,

I'm standing my ground,

And I'm really not going to be a doormat,

I'm not going to allow you to walk over me.

So that also is kind of that determination and that resilience that comes with the energy of the Nine of Wands.

So where is that resonating for you in your life,

And how does that resonate with you?

And you can just take a moment,

If you want,

To pause the audio and simply meditate on the energy of the Nine of Wands,

That warrior,

That strength,

That defiance for,

In a healthy way,

In a balanced way,

Like I said earlier,

Like the lotus,

It is defiant,

Regardless of the muck,

Regardless of the darkness,

Regardless of the energy,

It uses that energy to bloom,

To blossom into the fighter that it needs to be.

So if that really resonates with you for this week,

Use the wisdom,

Meditate on it,

The Nine of Wands,

How does that come up for you this week,

The energy of the fighter?

The next card I pulled was the Hermit.

I love the Hermit,

For those of you who tend to be a bit more introverted,

This card may be calling to you just because that's how it shows up in your life.

When you come inside,

When you take time for yourself,

You can process things a little bit better.

The Hermit is usually seen holding a lantern and the face is covered and they're in a dark cloak.

Art depicts it differently,

But one thing is for sure,

The Hermit is alone.

They are in a state of spiritual solitude.

And what does that mean,

Spiritual solitude?

Spiritual solitude is choosing to be alone,

Not to shut anyone out,

But to actually tune on in to all the things you are shutting out within yourself.

And what is that?

What is screaming to be heard?

Because within all of us,

I feel there's an inner child that sometimes has temper tantrums.

And when we ignore the inner child,

When we ignore these needs within us,

They will come out one way or the other.

And that's the time where you can find some spiritual solitude,

Going to walk in nature,

Take a bike ride,

Do something for you that allows you to have a date with yourself.

A little off topic,

But on topic,

I remember I went to a movie.

I was in my early twenties and I just went to go see a movie on my own because it was a movie that I just wanted to see on my own.

It's very hard to explain.

I was going to see it again with friends later,

But I think the schedule wasn't working out.

And I was like,

You know what?

I'm just going to go see this movie on my own.

And there was someone behind me who said,

Are you on your own?

Are you waiting for someone?

I said,

No,

I'm online.

And they said,

All by yourself.

It's a young kid.

And I said,

Yes,

All by myself.

And they said,

Oh my God,

I'd be so afraid to see a movie on my own.

I said,

As you get older,

You appreciate your solitude.

And that was my spiritual solitude.

That was my way of just allowing myself to take the time to go on a date with myself without any other opinions,

Without any other energies,

Just allowing myself,

Just like in meditation,

We allow ourselves to turn inward and see what's going on underneath the surface of our conscious minds.

And that's what we do as the hermit.

So I invite you to explore how that shows up for you this week.

Maybe this month,

The themes will show up and allow yourself to really tune on in to what does it mean to be or to find healthy,

Spiritual solitude,

To be independent for a little bit,

To honor your own independence.

And then last but not least,

The tarot card I pulled was the queen of cups.

The queen of cups is one of my favorite cards in the deck.

It usually shows her sitting on a throne,

Holding a cup,

A chalice,

A goblet,

And there's water all around her.

And she just feels very,

Or looks very at peace,

Very healed.

And my modern interpretation of the queen of cups,

I sometimes think of it as a healer,

A therapist,

A teacher,

A wellness leader,

A saint,

Someone who is not only healed or working on her healing journey or their healing journey,

But also they are sharing that with others.

They are nurturing others in that sense.

So this could be you,

This could definitely be you,

Or it could be someone in your life,

Or it could be an energy that the universe is kind of asking you to meditate on because there are no coincidences.

And if you're listening to this right now,

There could definitely be something in which resonates with you in these themes.

What does it mean to listen to your intuition?

What does it mean to be kind to yourself?

What does it mean to be kind to others?

What does it mean to be compassionate with yourself,

To be loving,

To be nurturing,

To be your own wellness coach?

And maybe it simply means to go on and hear these beautiful meditations and use these resources on this app.

Or it could simply be that you need to take time to be your own teacher,

To be your own guru.

It could also mean to not suppress your emotions,

To express your intuitive heart openly,

Allow yourself to honor any subtle vibrations that you feel,

Especially if you feel empathetic.

There are empaths,

People who can sense others' energies,

But everyone has empathy.

I believe that everyone has empathy.

And sometimes you can feel the subtle vibrations or the loud vibrations of another person's experience or another being's experience.

And how do we do that in a way that doesn't try to hide or control or suppress anything?

How do we allow ourselves to hold space for others?

And how do we allow for us to hold space for ourselves?

So the Queen of Cups,

In a sense,

Is calling you to ask,

How do we express our emotions?

How do we listen to our intuition?

How do we hold space for others and ourselves?

Especially if you have been taught to hide your emotions or suppress your emotions,

This is a beautiful card for you because it's like,

How do we tune on into that this week?

How do we allow the ripples,

The subtle energies within us and around us to speak their truth,

To come forward?

So allow your intuitive heart to really express itself and do it with deep love.

Always do these things as,

And this is a practice in and of itself,

If you do it in alignment with love and kindness,

Genuine kindness,

And not wishing to hurt anyone.

This is when these practices really come into flourishing.

When we practice Ahimsa,

And there are so many different ways to do it,

And there's so many different perspectives on it.

But when we allow ourselves to do things with the intention of loving kindness,

It can be hard.

It's not selfish.

It's simply doing the best and the greatest,

Highest good for others,

As well as ourselves.

When we practice these themes from that space,

That's when we start to really manifest the positive aspects of these cards and this energy.

Seeing the three cards together,

I find that the message for this week is,

Take time to be alone,

To find that spiritual solitude and fight for it if you need to,

Set up those boundaries,

Know you're worthy of it in the nine of wands,

To heal,

To take care of yourself,

To do what you need to do to find balance,

To find strength,

To refill your cup.

What has been taking from your cup?

And how do you summon that energy back?

Whatever that is.

So with that,

My friend,

And that's like a meditation theme and talk for a completely different day.

But with that,

I hope that this Tara Dharma talk and introspection talk,

I hope that inspired you.

It definitely inspired me,

The idea of being called to take care of yourself,

To find spiritual solitude,

And to do it in a way,

Really push for it,

Really,

Really push for it.

Find that fire within yourself to go for it.

I think that's a beautiful theme that we can all relate to and resonate.

So stay tuned for the next Tara card Dharma talk.

I look forward to seeing you then.

Take care and namaste.
