This is a meditation to honor new beginnings.
Using the energy and symbol of the Phoenix.
A Phoenix is a mythological creature that could live for 500 years at a time and when it was time to die,
It would burst into flames and cyclically become reborn from the ashes.
The symbolism and legend of the Phoenix is a beautiful human metaphor.
It's a story that reminds us that with every ending brings about a beginning,
And every beginning brings about an ending.
This meditation may have called you because you are ready to release and start fresh,
Start new.
So with that,
Come into a comfortable seated position or come to lie on down.
Let's go ahead and take nice long deep inhales and slow and soft exhales.
Breathing in for 4,
3,
2,
1,
Exhale let it go.
Breathing in for 4,
3,
2,
1,
Exhale let go.
Letting go,
Connecting and diving deeper and deeper into this present moment.
Letting go,
Visualizing a spiritual healing deep fire.
This fire cannot harm you,
It's healing,
It calls to you.
It's as if the warmth of the fire relaxes your toes,
The tops of your feet,
The bottoms of your feet,
The heels,
The ankles.
And the deep relaxation heals any pain,
Any discomfort,
Any tension.
And it moves its way to your knees,
Your legs,
Your pelvis,
Glutes,
And lower back.
The warmth engulfs the space of your belly,
Your mid-back,
Your chest.
It's like the beating of your heart pumps embers of this warm fire from elbows to fingertips.
Release the jaw and the eyes soften as well.
And the crown of your head seems to let go and release into the comforting light and warmth of this inner flame within you.
It is time to release whatever that does not serve you.
It's time to let it go into the fire.
Release narratives and past storylines that are no longer yours.
Release heartache,
Release fear and doubt.
Release what is out of your control.
Release attachments to things that don't necessarily keep you safe or happy.
Release,
Clean the slate,
Let go.
And once you have cleaned the slate,
It is time for a vision to be born from the ashes.
Visualize this fire slowly dying down to subtle embers.
And from the ashes,
Something grows.
It could be a life,
A symbol,
Anything or nothing at all.
Allow the energy of this feeling to fill up what seems empty,
What was once there.
Let it give you the inspiration to spread your wings and emerge from your own ashes.
Live your intention,
Try it out,
Be fearless with it.
And know you are worthy of all the blessings,
All the good that comes from this intention.
From here,
I invite you to slowly integrate the world of your meditation into the waking world around you.
Feel free to float the eyes open if they are closed,
Wiggle fingers and toes.
But only when you are truly ready can release this meditation.
Take with you any wisdom from this practice.
I thank you so much for meditating with me,
My friend.
So many blessings and namaste.
