Hello and a huge welcome to this releasing negativity,
Embracing positivity meditation.
So find a quiet comfortable space where you can be undisturbed.
Sit or lie down in a relaxed position.
Allow your hands to rest loosely and close your eyes gently,
Bringing your awareness to your breathing.
Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Let go of any tension you may be holding and with each breath feel yourself beginning to settle.
Take this moment to set a simple intention to release negativity and to welcome in light and positivity and peace.
So let's begin by grounding ourselves.
Imagine roots extending from your body deep deep down into the earth and with each breath these roots grow stronger anchoring you in the present moment.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Let your breath be natural and flowing.
As you breathe notice the rise and fall of your body.
Allow your breath to be your anchor.
With each exhale imagine releasing tension.
With each inhale imagine breathing in calm cleansing energy.
Let's scan your body now,
Gently and without judgment.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Feel a soft wave of relaxation washing over your scalp,
Now your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw.
Allow any tightness to melt away.
Move down to your neck and shoulders.
Feel them soften and release and with each breath let this wave of cleansing light flow downward down your arms,
Your chest,
Your stomach.
Notice any areas that feel heavy or tight.
Visualize these areas being gently cleansed as though a warm healing light is flowing through them.
Feel the light travel down your hips,
Your thighs,
To your knees,
Calves,
Ankles and finally your feet and your toes.
Your entire body is relaxed,
Cleansed and open to healing.
Now begin to bring into your awareness anything that feels heavy,
Any negativity,
Tension or emotional weight you've been carrying.
There's no need to analyze,
Just allow it to surface.
It could be stress,
Fear,
Self-doubt,
Anger or anything else.
As you breathe in imagine this negativity is a dark mist in your body.
And as you exhale imagine the mist gently leaving your body,
Dissolving into air.
Each breath out carries away old energy you no longer need.
Now imagine a stream of pure,
Bright light above your head,
Like golden sunlight or white crystal light.
With each inhale draw this light into your body.
Feel it filling the spaces once occupied by heaviness.
Inhale light and clarity,
Exhale darkness and tension.
Let this cleansing continue.
Stay with a rhythm of your breath.
Inhale light,
Exhale darkness.
Let your body,
Your thoughts and your energy be purified.
Now that you've cleared away the heaviness,
It's time to welcome in positivity.
Imagine a warm,
Radiant light surrounding you.
This light is filled with peace,
Joy,
Strength and love.
With each inhale draw this light into your heart.
Let it expand from your chest outward,
Filling your entire body.
As the light spreads,
Repeat silently or softly in your mind.
I am filled with peace.
I am open to joy.
I am strong,
Grounded and clear.
I welcome love and light into every part of my being.
Feel this positivity strengthening within you.
Feel it become your new baseline,
A lightness,
A warmth,
A sense of being whole.
Stay in this space of light for a few minutes,
Simply breathing and resting.
Begin to return your awareness to your breath.
Feel your body resting,
Supported,
Renewed.
And bring awareness to the surface beneath you,
To the air around you.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes gently.
And take a few deeper breaths now,
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Feel a deep sense of gratitude for this time you've given to yourself.
And when you're ready,
Bring your hands to your heart center.
Bow your head gently and take a final breath,
Sealing in your intention.
To carry this sense of clarity and positivity with you as you return to your day.
And when you're ready,
Softly open your eyes.
