Reclaim Your Power — A Yoga Nidra on Responsibility & Release
With Leslie DMello
Have you noticed how the mind quickly moves to blame… either toward others or toward ourselves?
In Yoga philosophy, both are seen as movements of the mind — vṛttis shaped by conditioning (saṁskāras) and rooted in avidyā, a misperception of reality.
This session invites a gentler shift.
From blame… to awareness.
From reaction… to conscious response.
We begin with a short teaching exploring these yogic insights, followed by a deeply guided Yoga Nidra practice where you are invited to rest as the draṣṭā — the witness — observing thoughts without becoming entangled in them.
Through breath, body awareness, and visualization, you will gently loosen the grip of old stories (aparigraha) and reconnect with your inner capacity to respond (kriyā).
The session closes with a reflective poem to support integration.
An invitation to release what you’ve been carrying…
and return to a quieter, more grounded sense of self.
