You get up in the morning, and you commute to your home office or work office. At the end of the day, you drive home or suffer the “long” commute back to the couch to watch TV. You want to exercise, but you’re exhausted. You watch an hour of TV, and that’s when you realize you can’t keep your eyes open, so you get up to go lie down for a rest - and you wake up 4 hours later (or more). Why am I so physically exhausted? You ask yourself. All I did was “work”. Then you start wondering, “Is my work-life balance off”? Am I eating enough? Maybe a strong cup of coffee would help. Well, before we drive ourselves crazy regarding work/life balance or diet or more coffee, let’s talk about mental and emotional fatigue.
