Connect with and extend love to your true self in this mindfulness meditation. When we can love the present moment unconditionally, we can truly love ourselves. We are then able to share this love with others.

Start by taking a few deep breaths and finding a position that is comfortable to you.

Breathing and exhaling,

Keeping your focus gently on your breath.

Inhale and exhale.

Allow yourself to be aware of this moment and all that it contains.

The sensations of your body,

The sounds around you,

Even your own thoughts.

Allow your thoughts to come and go without resisting them.

Allow your thoughts to come and go without following them.

Picture the center of your body,

Whatever that looks like to you.

Where is it?

Can you imagine your breath moving into and out of the center of your body?

Breathing on the center of your body,

Keep your concentration on your breath.

How does your body feel when you focus on your center?

Perhaps you breathe more deeply or more gently.

Perhaps you hold your body upright or lift your chin a little bit higher.

Perhaps you yawn or stretch or sigh.

Simply observe the sensations of your body when you focus on your center and your breath.

As you continue breathing,

Imagine your energy settling toward the center of your body.

Feel your breath move into your torso,

Letting your belly and chest rise and fall.

Notice what happens when certain thoughts arise.

Where does your focus go?

Do you feel different sensations in your body?

Do you feel a leaning forward or a slouching back?

Where do you feel your energy now?

When thoughts arise,

Again shift your focus to the center of your body and imagine your breath allowing this place to expand and contract.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Your true self exists in this moment.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Your true self exists in the simple goodness of this moment.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Your true self is the simple goodness of this moment.

Take a deep breath and exhale with a sigh.

Again,

Inhale deeply and exhale with a sigh,

This time making a louder sound as you exhale.

Breathe a few more times like this,

Inhaling deeply and exhaling with an audible sigh,

Keeping your focus on your center.

Allow your breath to become natural and relaxed.

You may want to stretch slowly from side to side or raise your arms overhead gently with your breath.

Breathing gently and naturally,

Silently repeat,

I love and accept myself.

As I love and accept myself,

I love and accept others.

I stand up for myself.

As I stand up for myself,

I stand up for others.

I am worthy of love,

Kindness,

And respect.

Just as I am worthy of love,

Kindness,

And respect,

So are other people.

I am at peace with myself as I am.

As I am at peace with myself as I am,

I am at peace with others as they are.

Thank you.

This is trully wonderful and hit the spot. With all the uncertainty during the pandemic and constant battle with my own anxiety, I could feel myself smiling. I could also hear the neigbours at their back garden and I send them my best wishes. I also accept that my centre will change as of when I need one of them to shine the most. Many thanks. I'm deeply grateful 🙏🏼

I didn't really know where this was going in the first few minutes but I could feel a shift in the way I felt half-way through and really like the affirmations at the end. Thank you.

I needed this and went so much deeper and beyond the constraints of time. I brought awareness to myself, surroundings, and felt much more at peace with my presence within my space.

This is the most helpful meditation I've used so far. When I opened my eyes I couldn't move because I was so at peace! I haven't had this feeling in quite some time. I fear this practice may become addictive.

Very pleasant . Grounded in mindfulness. Realistic and not too far fetched visualization (I usually really don't like visualizations) and a beautiful, affirmation-based closing.

Wonderful reminder that my inner state affects my interactions with all that is outside me. The dischord I see in my life is often just a reflection of the unrest within me. Conversely, I am more likely to see peace around me - and BRING peace into my world - when I practice peace within.
