Do not listen to this while driving or operating heavy machinery.

Begin by closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths.

Inhaling slowly and deeply.

Exhaling and releasing and letting go.

Letting go of whatever was going on before this moment that was then.

And letting go of whatever you need to handle later.

Time for that later.

Just for this little bit that we do this today,

Let yourself be free of the past and future and rest in the here and now.

Letting your shoulders release down.

Just letting go.

And treat yourself to a luxurious inhale and exhale.

Just enjoying those luxurious inhales and exhales.

Nothing to do.

Nowhere to be.

Just letting go.

Relaxing.

There's nothing to worry about.

Time for that later.

This moment is for you.

Just this wonderful,

Peaceful,

Relaxed moment.

Letting the belly be soft and loose.

And if there's any tightness in the body,

Just breathe into that area.

And then release and let go.

Relax and let go.

Releasing.

Loosening.

Letting the body sink deeper and deeper.

Feel the body getting heavy,

Sinking into the surface beneath you.

Thoughts will come and go,

Which is normal and natural.

That's just what the mind does.

There can be so many thoughts,

Some helpful,

Some unhelpful,

But just welcome them all in.

All thoughts are welcome here.

They're just thoughts,

And you're the one noticing them.

Nothing wrong with thinking.

Just notice that you're able to notice your thoughts.

No need to interact or change the thoughts.

Just noticing.

Imagine you're sitting on the side of a stream,

Watching your thoughts float by like leaves atop the water.

Simply observe your thoughts instead of getting involved with their content or resisting them.

Feel the strength in this awareness that allows you to clearly and passively watch your thoughts as they go by.

Feel the freedom in noticing that you are not your thoughts.

You're the one aware of your thoughts.

Feel this vast and open and loving awareness as big as the whole sky.

See if you notice any gaps or pauses between the thoughts.

When the mind wanders,

Just gently call it back.

Simply observe your thoughts instead of getting involved with their content.

Remember,

There's nothing wrong with thinking.

We can welcome in all of our thoughts.

You're simply practicing not automatically believing and grasping onto your thoughts.

You're simply feeling that freedom in noticing that you are not your thoughts.

You're the one aware of them.

Just resting in this vast and open awareness.

Feel into all that space.

Feel the open space surrounding you.

Feel into the vast openness.

Then search for your body for that same sense of openness.

It could be beneath your eye,

Or the bottom of your foot,

Or the tip of your fingertip.

Just notice anywhere in your body where you feel this sense of openness.

Now let that sense of openness expand so you can feel that sense of openness throughout your entire body.

Like a drop of food coloring in water letting the openness touch every cell in your body and wash all over you.

The sense of open awareness felt within your body on a cellular level and felt throughout your entire body.

Room for freedom.

Room for choice.

Room for flexibility and clarity.

Space to expand.

Space to grow.

Space to learn.

Space for you and your life.

Space for it all.

All is well.

You are well.

It is safe to rest,

Releasing,

Releasing and letting go.
