Transcript

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.

Take a moment to feel.

Feel the anger,

The hurt,

The sadness.

Knowing in this moment it's okay to feel.

You are safe.

Notice your body right now.

Any tension that you may feel.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Release the tension in your forehead.

Another deep breath in,

Exhale.

Relax your shoulders.

Do that again this time.

Raise your shoulders on the inhale,

Exhale let that go.

Place your hand on your heart.

Inhale again,

Lift your shoulders,

Exhale let that go.

Continue to breathe with your hand remaining on your heart,

Slowing down your breath in and out.

Everything is slowing down and as you continue to breathe in and out,

Grounded in this moment,

Silently repeat after me.

I won't let this have power over me.

I won't give this power.

I won't let this have power over me.

I won't give this power.

I let go.

I let go of anger.

I am letting go and with each breath visualize the anger leaving your body.

As you silently repeat,

I let go.

I let go.

I choose to move forward.

I choose to move forward.

I am moving forward.

I won't let this have power over me.

I choose to move forward.

I'm letting go.

It's okay to let go.

I let go.

Take a moment to breathe here and just be in this moment,

Knowing that all of your feelings are justified and that moving forward is your choice and it's okay to let go.

I let go.

Moving forward.

I let go.

I'm moving forward.

I let go and I move forward.

Take a long slow deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Take another long slow deep breath in through your nose and release.

Slowly start to bring yourself back to the room and with one more long slow deep breath in on the exhale open your eyes and remember it's okay to let go.

Perfect! "All your feelings are justified...AND its ok to let go." That line hit home for me because I've been taught my whole life that it's one or the other. I'm going to be doing this one daily for quite a while! Thank you! 😊
