Our goals can feel big and often overwhelm us at times.
Taking small steps to achieve your goals will get you there,
But sometimes that process can feel insignificant or even a waste of time because it takes a while.
But those small steps are pivotal in getting you to your end goal.
So today's meditation is going to help you when you're feeling unmotivated,
When you're feeling like you're not moving forward or getting any closer to achieving that goal.
And will serve as a reminder of how far you've actually come.
So settle in,
Find a comfortable position,
And close your eyes.
Take a nice long,
Slow inhale through your nose.
And exhale through your mouth.
Let's do that one more time.
A nice slow inhale through your nose.
And exhale through your mouth.
Now continue to just breathe in and out of your nose.
And as you do so,
Just notice the breath go in and out.
Breathing in to the count of one,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
In,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Just slowing down your breath.
Finding a gentle rhythm.
Letting go of everything that you were thinking about before.
And just being here,
Now.
Slowing down your breath.
Settling deeper into your seat.
With slow and steady breaths.
Take a moment to think of your end goal.
What are you working to accomplish right now?
Why are you doing it?
What makes it important to you?
Now reflect on the things,
Even the tiniest things you have already done,
To get closer to that finish line.
Even if it's just starting now and meditating on what you need to do.
Just think of those small steps you've already done.
Now that you have thought about that list of things,
Celebrate moving forward.
Celebrate the fact that you have a goal.
You have a dream.
You have a desire to move forward.
Even the fact that you simply want this.
You want to achieve this goal.
You want to complete this task.
You want to move forward is a cause for celebration.
Breathe that in.
And notice you are much closer than you thought you were.
You've taken that first step.
And now you're going to take another.
And another.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
We are going to do a series of affirmations.
So silently repeat after me and continue to breathe in and out and steady.
Breathe in.
I am capable.
I am more than capable.
One step each day is getting me closer.
I am taking steps.
And I will take another today.
I am proud of how far I've come.
I will achieve my goal.
And I am already on my way.
Now take a deep breath in and feel into this.
The confidence in your words.
The fact that you are moving forward.
That you have the will to take one step every day.
Knowing you can and you will.
Now go and take one more step forward.
And celebrate that small movement.
Because it is the next step getting you closer.
And how exciting is that?
Now take a nice long slow deep breath in.
With your back straight.
Your shoulders back.
Exuding confidence.
As you inhale and exhale that confidence in and out.
Again a nice long slow inhale in.
Shoulders back.
Chest out.
Spine straight reaching high.
Exhale out.
Breathe in.
And exhale out any negativity that remains.
Breathe in confidence.
And exhale out any doubt.
Because you are moving forward.
Take one more nice long slow inhale in.
And let that go.
And when you are ready open your eyes.
