This is your five minute productivity meditation.
I understand how challenging it is to pause during a work day,
To take a break,
Worrying that you're not gonna get everything done,
But it's when you pause and actually slow down,
That's when you can reset and be more productive and get more done.
So it's actually more beneficial in the long run for you to take these breaks.
So this is your five minutes to take within your day to reset and find a little bit of peace within you.
You'll be amazed at how much more you can do.
This is something you can do anywhere,
Whether you're at your desk or if you work from home,
Anywhere that's comfortable for you,
You can sit or lay down if that's available.
So to begin,
Let's take a nice long,
Slow inhale in through the nose and a long,
Slow breath out.
Let's do that again,
A nice long,
Slow inhale in through the nose,
Filling up the nostrils into the lungs,
Into the chest,
Into the belly,
And then slowly exhale that out.
Now let's do that again,
One more time.
Really concentrating on the breath as you breathe in through the nose,
Slowly filling up your lungs and your belly and on the exhale,
Purse your lips like you're blowing out a candle and slowly,
Ever so gently,
Release the breath and feel your shoulders.
Just go lower and lower,
Grounding yourself into the moment,
Feeling that pressure of the day just start to slip away.
Now continue to breathe in and out slowly.
The point here is to bring your breath in as slow and steady as you can and releasing it just as slow,
Finding the rhythm of your breath,
Continuing to breathe in and out.
I will guide you through a series of prompts.
With each breath,
We will focus on drawing in positive qualities and releasing those which do not serve us.
So focusing on your breath,
Inhale calm,
Exhale chaos,
Inhale acceptance,
Exhale perfectionism,
Inhale peace,
Exhale worry,
Inhale strength,
Exhale doubt,
Inhale positivity,
Exhale negativity,
Inhale patience,
Exhale frustration,
Inhale joy,
Exhale sadness,
Inhale focus and exhale procrastination,
Inhale gratitude,
Exhale discontent,
Inhale love and exhale love.
Continuing to breathe in and out,
Take a moment to feel the energy of those positive inhalations and feel the energy leaving your body as you exhale that negativity.
Carry this sense of tranquility and focus with you as you continue with the rest of your day.
Now take a nice long,
Slow inhale,
Exhale that out and when you're ready,
Open your eyes and have a great rest of your day.
