Sometimes all we need are five minutes to reset and bring a little bit more calm into our day.

This is your five minute meditation to find a little bit of calm.

So take a moment to find a comfortable seated position.

You can sit at your desk or a chair,

Whatever is comfortable to you.

Allow your hands to rest gently in your lap or on your knees and let's start by taking a nice long slow inhale in through the nose and on the exhale close your eyes.

Let's take another nice long slow inhale in through the nose filling your lungs fully and exhaling out through the mouth releasing any tension.

Let's do that again.

A nice long slow inhale in through the nose and out through the mouth.

One more time inhale nice and slow breathing in all of that good positive energy and then exhaling out any tension you may be holding on to.

Now start to just breathe in naturally in through the nose and out through the nose.

Just notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest your belly as you breathe in and out focusing your attention on your breath now quieting the noise around you allowing each inhale to draw in fresh energy and each exhale to release any tension you may be holding on to.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.

As you continue to breathe in and out picture a place that brings you calm a serene place it might be a beach or a peaceful mountaintop a quiet forest or just a space in your house that really makes you feel comfortable and calm.

Visualize yourself in this location and feel all of the sensations around you perhaps there's the warmth of the Sun or the gentle breeze on your skin the sounds of nature around you or just the stillness in a cozy place in your home.

As you continue to breathe in and out slowly with each inhale absorb the tranquility of this place allow it to fill you up the feeling the sensation of being in this room or this area that just brings you happiness and calm and with each exhale let go of any distractions grounding yourself more deeply in this peaceful moment.

All the worries of the day seem to just pass you by almost like a distant memory.

You are here now there's no more stress or worries you are just in this beautiful space feeling calm and connected to yourself allowing all of those worries to just slip away.

Recognizing that you are safe you are breathing and you are turning inward to find that calm that presence that is always in you whenever you need it.

So let's embrace that now as you inhale inhale calm exhale chaos inhale clarity exhale that feeling of being scattered inhale kindness exhale judgment inhale focus exhale distraction inhale love and exhale love and let go of anything else that no longer serves you because all you need right now is this quiet moment in that beautiful serene place that brings you joy and happiness and calm and your breath and the knowledge that you are in control of whatever you need to happen now for the rest of the day take a nice long slow inhale in through the nose and sigh it out through the mouth take one last look at that beautiful place that you're in and feel that feeling of calm throughout your body and when you're ready open your eyes and have a beautiful day
