We'll go ahead and get started and find yourself sitting comfortably wherever you're at.
And allow your eyes to blink closed as you're ready.
Your spine lengthen in the center of your body and just feel the gentle current of your breath in and out through your nose without forcing anything,
Without controlling anything.
You just bring yourself into the present moment.
And in this present moment you can begin to simply just welcome whatever arises within you.
You can recognize and witness whatever this is,
Becoming a little more comfortable with yourself.
And as this happens,
If you need to release any tension,
Maybe you just take a sigh through the mouth if that feels natural for you.
And just allow that to release any tension in your body.
For a moment just begin to feel the lower half of your body grounded into the earth,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Heavy into the floor.
And then begin to bring your awareness to the upper half of your body,
The lightness,
The reaching toward the sky.
And now you can feel both at the same time.
Just feel your entire body as one.
And then begin to bring your awareness to the space in the center of your eyebrows behind your closed eyes.
And just begin to notice if there's any shape,
Colors,
Textures that arise there.
And if there's nothing that's also fine.
But in this moment I invite you to begin to visualize your inner sanctuary.
This can be anything completely unique for yourself.
Maybe it's a place,
Real or imaginary,
Where you feel alive,
Happy,
Connected or at peace.
And just pause here as you absorb into your being everything that you see behind your closed eyes.
And then as you breathe here,
Perhaps you begin to notice any sense in your inner sanctuary and allow the sense of smell to fill up your entire being.
And then what do you hear in your sanctuary?
Is there anything there where you can allow the sounds to open up your entire being a little bit more?
And now what do you taste in your inner sanctuary?
And allow this taste to consume your entire being with peace,
Joy and love.
And what do you feel on your skin or through anything connected to your surrounding?
And give yourself over to this tactile sensation for just a moment.
And finally,
What emotion do you feel while you are consumed in the inner sanctuary of your being?
Is it a feeling of happiness,
Love,
Sensuality,
Connectedness,
Peace,
Calm?
Whatever it is,
Allow that emotion to fill your entire being.
And for a moment,
Just rest in that beautiful emotion.
And notice how your entire being feels as you inhabit your sanctuary.
And remember that you can return to this place anytime whenever you wish to be your absolute best in life.
Now allow your awareness to return to your body sitting here in the floor.
Deepen your breath in and out through your nose.
Keep this feeling and sensation with you.
And remember that as you develop this sense of your inner sanctuary,
You can move through your life with a sustained sense of peace,
Love and joy.
Now after your next deep grounding breath,
Bring your hands to touch at heart center into Anjali Mudra.
Feel your hands pressed together as an act of affirmation in the present moment.
Feel your heart rise toward your hands.
Then begin to rub your palms gently together,
Create some heat and friction between your hands.
And when they're nice and warm,
You can cover your eyes and just give yourself a gentle facial massage anywhere that feels good.
Perhaps if your eyes are tired this morning,
You may want to massage around your eyes.
I like to massage upward.
And then you can just blink your eyes open whenever you are ready.
