Have a wonderful power nap and select a desired animal to nourish you and you can change this one each time you power up. It's time to find a special tree and feed yourself some earthly medicine right here just for you. Includes mild stretches and dipping into silence and then expanding the mind too.

Welcome to this guided meditation called Power Nap with Animals.

Let's begin.

Please get seated or lay down if you wish.

If possible be completely still physically.

Still 10 seconds now.

Thank you.

Nice sharp breath in and fully exhale.

Closing the left eye now.

Closing the right eye now.

Let the eyes inside go down whilst you empty the mind 10 seconds.

Let the eyes go up and empty the mind another 10 seconds.

Finally stretch hands out as flat as you can.

Expand each finger separately and just rotate those thumbs 20 seconds please.

Relax your hands.

Relax your eyes.

Clench the feet like they were animal feet.

Nice tight ball of muscles and nails.

An inward stretch.

Soles of the feet wrinkle underneath.

Hold it and let's think animal.

Expand your mind.

What animal would you like to be for a while?

Animals with paws and claws,

Four legs,

A very nice coat and good senses.

Perhaps you are beautiful too.

Maybe,

Just maybe,

Maybe,

Just maybe extremely cute.

Or simply perfection,

The natural world of animals.

Where would you go if everything you usually do stopped for a while?

What's on the agenda has been rescheduled as you deepen to the animal world.

Would you sniff the wind and know exactly what's a mile around you?

Is food all that you can crave to sheer hunger and extremely healthy appetite?

Needing energy food so you can go play in the big world?

Can you jump and how high is good and safe for you?

Do you think of the past or only in this moment to moment?

Maybe you dream of all the nice things that have happened.

For a good dream would help with sleep.

Are your memories accurate or added fun,

Added bravery?

Did you do it perfect in your dreams?

Running faster,

Flying off the ground.

Some animals are born to be independent.

Therefore they must look after number one.

But here we all have this in common.

A place to sleep,

A meal to nourish you.

Water the tonic of your living life.

For you are always reminded you have a body.

Open to new adventures and one eye on the weather.

So earthly land beneath your feet and skies above your head.

And you are in the middle.

Can you hear your heart beating on autopilot?

What facial expressions can you make?

Can you open wide the mouth and show all your teeth right now?

Can you look angry or simply annoyed?

And then totally look serene.

Calm and in your power.

Calm is when all needs are met.

Imagine now you have your favorite tree.

Just go to it now and climb into the belly of that tree.

And let all of the body and face melt into its branches and leaves.

Listening only to the wind.

The breeze that makes this tree speak.

With a soft swish.

Listen carefully as you power up on Earth's medicine.

Stay right here.

Let the tree support you and dissolve old energy.

And just be.

Have three minutes here.

The animal in you and your favorite tree.

Time to let out a mighty yawn.

As you climb down that favorite tree.

And so ready to start afresh.

With a nice deep breath in.

And a nice deep breath out.

Opening your eyes to count to three.

One.

Two.

Three.

Eyes opening perfectly.
