A guided meditation to focus on being physically still with the health benefits it brings. We will also dip into emptying the mind in short sessions with added breathwork. In summary, the combination of all 3 elements is a tool in life that supports all other stuff we keep performing with. So let's honor ourselves in a kind yet powerful way being still really does help and is good for you.

Welcome to this guided meditation called Be Still.

Let's begin.

Please get seated or lay down if you wish.

Please stare for a second and be still,

Allowing all things to stop.

Take a sharp breath in,

Nice and quick.

Close your eyes and breathe out full and long with that breath.

And another sharp breath in,

Nice and quickly.

Then long breath out,

Empty the breath.

Feel the tummy moves with this one.

And again,

A sharp breath in now please.

And then release a slow,

Really long breath out.

Please empty the mind ten seconds into stillness.

Let the eyes inside go left and right.

Left,

Right.

Left,

Right.

Then stop and empty the mind ten seconds more,

Thank you.

Let the eyes go up and down.

Up and down.

Up and down.

Then stop,

Be still,

Empty the mind ten seconds now.

I want you to imagine that only you are in a way powering up by seeing everyone else rushing about as you remain physically still.

Honor this moment as if giving thanks to the physical body by becoming motionless,

Giving thanks to time and to life where you and I normally rush about.

But you have stopped,

Motionless into stillness.

Breathe into this as you empty the mind ten seconds now.

The calmness of a different kind of stagnation.

You are not wishing to go somewhere or to be something.

You are breathing into owning the space right here.

See yourself,

Your body utterly still.

Picture it ten seconds now.

I wish to complement this by offering a really gentle evening sky that only your eyes rest upon.

Acknowledge the great height,

The distance of the evening sky.

And there seems to be that glow,

The soft glow of an evening sky.

Take a sharp breath in and a slow long breath out that glows in unison with the sky.

The breath,

The breeze,

The wind current.

And beneath this sky everything else is moving,

Rushing through it with their lives.

Accept you are still.

Now let a cloud of pale pink and white capture your vision now.

And as it drifts so slow,

You drift with it gracefully as one.

Nothing now exists,

Yet you and the sky end this cloud.

A warm evening sky that seems limitless,

Never ending.

There's huge space around you both.

And in a way every cell in the body mirrors a deep calmness.

Yet the biggest thing is what you are becoming.

Feel yourself now looking down on earth.

In your vast sky with the transport of a floating cloud.

The air currents that support you are so smooth like your deepest longest breath.

Take a sharp breath in and your deepest longest breath out.

The breath of all is well,

All is in order.

Flowing in a state of calmness.

Flowing in a state of oneness.

Think of your heart and watch the cloud become a heart shape,

The symbol and power of love.

Then look at the word love.

L-O-V-E.

Love is forever reaching out to all things.

Just about everything has a connection to love.

Now breathe into the energy of it like a tonic.

Then watch the cloud lit up powerfully by this evening sky.

Recognising the shape of earth.

A super round ball.

A symbol of a circle.

Take a sharp breath in and a long breath out into the image of a circle.

Look at its smooth line,

Never ending,

Complete and oneness.

The acceptance,

The connecting,

Being aware of everything that exists.

This may be man,

Animal,

Nature,

Stars,

Planets and so on.

You are a part of it all,

The knowing.

Take a sharp breath in and a long slow breath out.

Learn to flow with the centre of stillness.

The calmness,

The openness and the wiser you.

Longevity like that circle.

In tune to your body and hold this higher vision of yourself.

Now honour yourself and empty the mind one minute and be still.

And now you may go back to life with grace,

A new serene flow thanks to stillness.

Let's open the eyes to the count of three.

One,

Two,

Three.

Eyes opening,

Thank you.
