Welcome to this practice of yoga nidra for connection and intimacy,
One of your emotional needs as a divine human being.
My name is Anne-Marie and I will be your guide today as you bring intimate attention to your heart chakra and connect deeply with this centre,
Your fourth energy centre,
The centre that connects your lower three chakras,
The root,
Sacrum and solar plexus to your upper three chakras,
Your throat,
Third eye and crown.
Your heart chakra rests in the centre of your body,
Intimately connecting your inner consciousness with your outer consciousness,
Your heart chakra is your centre of deep wisdom and knowing.
As you lay your body down,
Feel the gravitational pull of Mother Earth's warm embrace as you fold into her heart centre and allow your body connect as Mother Earth holds you in tender loving care.
Sense your body softening without changing anything,
Allowing your body to find a comfortable position for your practice by placing your arms by your side,
Palms facing up or slightly inwards as your legs splay out and your feet flop nearer the earth,
Placing a cover over your body and pillows wherever you need and trust that Mother Earth will hold your body as you allow yourself to float into deep rest.
The space where you are resting is your sacred sanctuary from the outside world,
Helping you connect intimately with your inner world.
Connect now with your breath,
Your life force energy,
Noticing your body breathing,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Breathing in silence and breathing out noise,
Breathing in comfort,
Breathing out discomfort,
Breathing in presence,
Breathing out distraction.
Each breath connecting you deeper to your tender heart,
The landscape of your heart,
The wild and sacred centre of your intimate being,
A precious throne to honour your innate wisdom,
Coming back home to who you are without all the conditioning and programming,
Leaving behind any outdated belief systems that keep you from moving forward.
This practice asks you to lighten your load so that you can connect deeply to your divine being.
Keep trying to hide and in time you become a wall,
Keep trying to love and in time you become love.
Our journey on earth is to stop hiding so that we can become love.
Everything else is a seduction and a distraction.
Courage is staying true.
Inside everything by marking.
This is where the practice of yoga nidra begins,
As you enter a state in between awake and asleep,
In between awake and asleep,
Drifting into deep rest,
Trusting you are being held in complete acceptance exactly as you are right now,
Feeling the nurturing embrace of the heart of the great mother.
The connection to your heart begins with words.
Words connect to your feelings,
Feelings connect to your emotions,
Emotions connect to the heart,
Heart connects to heart by love and frequency.
From your heart,
Your sankalpa for your practice,
Whispers intimately into your ear,
Bringing awareness of your intention for your practice today.
The whisper of wisdom,
The I am statement of intention,
Embracing you with the infinite supply of love.
Yoga nidra is a practice of self-love,
The intimate connection with you and your heart.
You may repeat your sankalpa three times now.
And then plant it deep within your heart center,
Allowing the love there to hold it safe for the duration of your practice.
As you bring your awareness to your heart center,
Your heart chakra,

As you imagine a pool of pale pink lotus flowers floating in your heart center,
In a pool of tender and loving care,
And wrapping your tender heart in an intimate embrace,
The gentle pale pink,
Embracing you and your body as my voice guides your awareness to different parts of your body,
And bringing the loving kindness to each heart I mention.
As you move your attention now from your heart center to your throat center,
To your brow center,
To your crown center,
Down to your right temple,
Your right eyebrow,
Your right eye,
Your right cheek,
Inside your mouth,
Your tongue,
The back of your throat,
Back of your throat,
Inside your right cheek,
Inside your left cheek,
Your whole mouth,

Moving out of your mouth and down to your right shoulder,
Your right upper arm,

The palm of your right hand,

Your whole right hand,

Moving your awareness to your gentle beating pulse of your heart,
Enveloped pale pink loving kindness and imagining an orb appearing in your heart centre,
An orb of light pale pink.
As you allow your body to witness the mental and emotional consciousness now without bringing any story to it,
As you bring a sense of fear to your body,
Noticing how the emotional fear feels in your body without any narrative around fear,
Just noticing how your body feels when you bring a sense of fear to it,
When you hear the word fear,
Where in your body do you feel it?
Then allow it,
Float away as you bring a sense of love into your body,
How does the word love feel in your body,
Where in your body do you feel it?
Without any story,
Just the feeling,
Bringing the feeling of fear and love together now,
How do they feel together?
Can you bring the emotions together and hold them both intimately in connection,
The both and rather than either or,
Holding both in your awareness knowing they both hold a wisdom for you to navigate.
Now allow yourself to feel closed,
Like a lotus flower before it opens from a bud,
A tight bud closed around your heart,
When you close your heart to what is happening,
Without any story around the feeling of closed,
Just the feeling of being closed,
How does that feel in your body,
Where do you notice it in your body,
Without the narrative,
Just the feeling.
Then bring the awareness of openness into your body,
The lotus flower opening in full bloom,
Where do you feel it,
How does it feel without any story,
Just the feeling.
Then bring the feeling of closed and openness together in your body,
Can you feel a connection to both,
How does it feel,
Where do you feel it,
The both and feeling of closed and openness,
Your heart opening and closing to what life is offering you in this moment,
The awareness around your beautiful tender heart centre,
The power of your heart holding both fear and love,
Closed and openness together,
And openness together,
The intimate connection to the both and of life.
Place both your hands on your heart centre now and feel the pulse of your heartbeat as you imagine the gentle pale pink orb of light caressing your heart centre,
Front,
Back,
Left,
Right.
Imagining your heart as a mirror of wisdom reflecting out into the world of loving kindness and intimate connection as you allow yourself to dive deep into the centre of your being as you rest and visualise the pale pink orb of light moving from your heart down to your solar plexus,
To your sacral chakra,
To your root as it descends all the way down your right leg to ascend up your left leg where it lands once more on your root ascending to your sacral chakra,
Your heart chakra,
Throat chakra,
Third eye,
Crown centre before descending once more.
Feeling the orb enveloping each chakra and holding your whole body in a gentle healing embrace of pale pink loving kindness light.
Imagining that pale pink light pulsing out from the centre of your heart into the space around you,
The room you are in right now before the light pulses out of the room and into the area you are staying right now.
Holding everyone you know in this gentle pale pink loving kindness orb of light and then moving to everyone you met today,
Everyone you had contact with today and feeling that intimate connection between you and your loved ones before moving to the people you encountered today,
Even the ones who maybe challenged you in some way.
Holding yourself and everyone who's coming into your consciousness right now in this beautiful tender orb of pale pink light.
As you imagine you and your orb of light floating above the place you find yourself in,
As you become the sky above,
A mirror above the earth,
A mirror of loving kindness illuminating from the centre of the sky,
The heart of the sky to the centre of the earth,
The heart of the earth.
Lighting up every heart and soul with loving kindness and the intimate connection between the sky and the earth.
Every living thing on the planet embraced with the intimacy and connection it deserves.
The whole earth enveloped in the pale pink orb of loving kindness light.
The heart of the earth pulsing with your heart embracing loving kindness and compassion intimately connected and held.
You are completely at one as you mirror loving kindness with every breath you take.
A pool of intimacy and connection to all that matters in this moment.
Every heartbeat,
Every pulse,
Every breath,
Every wave in the sea,
Every drop of rain,
Every gust of wind,
Every bird singing,
Every fish swimming,
Every tree,
Every plant,
Every flower,
Every body,
All embraced with loving kindness and what is true in the heart of the earth and the sky,
Enveloping the planet with love,
Joy and truth.
As you move towards the divine in your heart and the divine love in every heart,
As the universe connects us all,
Keeping the feeling of one love connection of joy and truth in your heart as you float into the stillness and silence in the spaciousness.
So so so slowly emerging from your intimate connection with the sky and earth and one love as you connect back into your body and your beautiful tender heart.
The gentle embrace,
The pale pink orb of light caressing your heartbeat as the sound of your sankalpa pulses into your awareness for you to repeat three times now.
Your sankalpa rests in your heart center where it will remain until it becomes a reality in your life.
Your heartbeat will mind us and with each beat it will give it the attention needed for it to grow.
As you slowly awaken your body and come back into the space of the room and become aware of the space your body is taking on the floor,
Your body and the space around it.
Stretching your hands out to your side then slowly moving them up above your head then slowly bringing them back down to your heart and rest here like this for a few seconds connecting with your heart before you slowly bring yourself up to sitting and waiting until you are sitting before opening your eyes and placing your hands once more on your heart center as you thank yourself for taking the time to connect intimately with the center of your being,
Of the center of your being,
Your divine heart.
