Welcome to being here now.
Get cozy,
Take a seat,
Or feel free to lie down with a flat back.
Giving yourself an opportunity to stow away whatever you might be coming in with.
Dropping into your body and fully embracing the present moment.
If you like,
You can shift into your seat until you're settled.
Accessing a neck roll here or stretching as you prepare to drop in.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to take the deepest inhale you have taken all day.
Noticing new energy flowing in through your nostrils.
Replenishing every cell in your body and letting everything out that is ready to leave on the exhale.
Continuing,
Taking in the deepest inhales as you reflect on gratitude for this time just for you.
Slowing down those exhales as much as is possible.
Like you're letting air escape out of a tiny hole in a balloon.
Continue breathing,
Taking deep inhales and slow exhales.
And as you continue taking mindful breaths,
Notice any distractions or thoughts about the rest of your day.
Simply redirect to your breath each time gently and without judgment.
Our minds will wander simply because that's what they do.
And so we can start again and again with compassion.
Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.
On your next cycle of breath,
Envision the fresh new air pouring in through your nostrils as you inhale.
Like sunlight washing over you,
Cleansing your whole inner body and exhaling any stagnant energy,
Letting go of anything you no longer wish to hold on to.
And do that again,
Inhaling warm sunlight,
Cleansing each and every cell,
Reinvigorating your inner body and exhaling anything you no longer wish to hold on to.
As you continue taking the next few cycles of breath on your own,
Consider a possible intention to support you through the rest of your day,
Something you might be able to hold on to if you get lost or swept up,
Something you might feel grounded in.
Thank you for meditating with me and taking this time for yourself.
Namaste.
