Transcript

Welcome to your guided meditation,

And please take all the time that you need to settle into a very safe and comfortable position,

Ensuring that all of your external needs are met and making no compromise on your comfort.

Gently closing down your eyes and bringing your awareness inwards,

Grounding yourself into this space by gently deepening your breath.

Take a slow breath in and a longer breath out.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly.

Notice the sensation of your breath going in and out through your nostrils.

Using no effort at all as your body and your mind start to relax.

Continue to take full deep breaths.

And just take a moment to bring awareness to the feelings and sensations in your body.

The quality of the thoughts in your mind.

The emotions that may be rising.

And to the frequency and vibration of your energy.

In this moment,

I invite you to bring your awareness to a niggling thought,

The voice of your harsh inner critic,

Or a limiting belief that you're holding on to.

We all have them.

The thoughts that we know deep down inside are simply not true.

We know that these thoughts and beliefs no longer serve us.

They just keep us stuck.

They hold us back.

Yet we grip onto the thought or the belief so tightly in the hope that we can control it.

That we can avoid the emotions that are attached to it.

So I invite you to imagine the thought or the belief as a rope.

And imagine that you're holding on,

Clutching onto the rope,

Gripping so tightly.

And as you do this,

Bring your awareness to your hands.

Your knuckles are white.

Your palms are hot and sweaty.

The tightness,

The control,

The grip around the rope starts to burn.

But together,

Now,

We can take time to slowly release that control.

To let go of all the frustration.

To loosen the grip on the rope.

So we gently and consciously release the right thumb off the rope.

The right index finger.

The right middle finger.

The right ring finger.

The right little finger.

We slowly and deliberately release the left thumb off the rope.

The left index finger.

The left middle finger.

The left ring finger.

The left little finger.

And now bring awareness to your hands.

The vast expanse and openness of your palms.

The lightness,

The freedom.

In doing so,

That vast expanse and openness that you have created transfers to your mind.

It transfers to the deepest core of your big and beautiful heart.

An openness to receive.

An openness to receive love.

To receive peace.

To receive light.

To receive healing.

To receive strength and safety.

And in front of you,

Imagine a basket.

And I invite you to release that thought.

To let go of the control.

To surrender the worries,

The concerns and any limiting beliefs by placing them in the basket.

Letting go.

Making room.

Clearing space.

A willingness.

An openness.

And a capacity to receive abundance.

And magic.

And to allow what truly lights you up.

To really shine brightly from within.

You now have the power to choose.

To decide what happens next.

To release the grip.

To let go of the control.

You can allow me to hold that basket for you.

To hold that thought for you.

To take the load from you.

To release the weight and the burden of holding it any longer.

So that you can feel light.

So you can feel completely free.

And so that you can fully rest.

I'm going to hold a very safe space for you now to breathe deeply.

To rest fully.

And to relax completely.

Wow. I’ve been “trying” to let go of some thoughts for awhile and this visual and kinesthetic method had me viscerally engaging with the sensations of emotionally & mentally letting go of “untouchable” aspects. You’ve created a cocoon of safety before beginning the exercise and my nervous system was able to settle in my surroundings. Thank you for this gem of a session 🤍🌞⭐️
