Reconnect to self-love.
To begin,
Let's take a couple of deep breaths,
Slow and steady,
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Self-love is the engine of our ability to love others and the outside world.
For many,
Loving others can be the way that they start to discover self-love.
It can be the strong feelings that you have for another person or thing or child in your life that shows you quite how strong your heart energy and the focus of your love can be.
And once you identify how much you can love outwardly,
There is an opportunity to start to love yourself inwardly at a deeper level than before.
Some believe that self-love is problematic for many of us because of our own self-judgments,
The way that we have been unkind to ourselves in our thoughts or our actions.
My belief is that our self-love,
When we give full attention to it and allow it to become part of our lives,
Is scary to us because it will actually move us more into our power and our love.
And that level of feeling and amplification can be a little scary when we haven't often been invited into that level of feeling by events,
Circumstances or structures in our outer life.
Self-love can become your love affair with the divine.
Self-love can become your love affair with who you are as a soul and the miraculous journey that you are currently taking every day on Earth,
Having these experiences,
Challenging or wonderful.
How can you not send some love the way of this hero of your own journey that you are?
You are the one who is walking yourself through this world of light and dark,
Love,
Compassion,
Difficulty,
Challenge.
That is an extraordinary walk that you are taking every day.
And so to care for yourself,
You need to check that you are as in balance as you can be.
Unless you start to cultivate a daily relationship to your own well-being,
It will become very difficult for you to have experiences in your outer relationships that are operating at the highest possible well-being for all.
If you are in deficit,
That is what those you are in relationship with are experiencing,
A you that is in deficit of what you need.
So,
What could you do today that could be loving toward you?
What do you feel your soul,
Your body,
Your mind needs today?
Perhaps as you contemplate that question,
You realize it is rest and you need to rearrange a few things today so that you can create some space.
Perhaps you realize it is joy and excitement,
So you can go into the world and do a few things differently to try and bring some stimulation to your day today.
Self-love has many different faces.
It is not always soothing and restful.
Sometimes it is exciting and wild.
So,
How can you perform one act of self-love toward yourself today and what will it be?
In love and in self-love to you as you go about your day today.
