When we invite affirmation into our daily practice we allow our minds to focus on a more positive way of thinking. We shift thought patterns, we raise our vibration, and we transform our energy. It is great to practice affirmation meditation in the morning, but you can revisit this at any point throughout the day and whenever needed.

This is a short affirmation meditation that you can have with you anywhere you need.

I highly recommend doing an affirmation practice first thing in the morning as part of your morning routine.

Affirmations can be so supportive wherever we are,

Whenever we need them.

So whilst I suggest doing this meditation sitting upright,

Sitting on the floor in stillness with your eyes closed in whatever way you feel comfortable.

Equally if this is a practice that would really benefit you when you are on the train on the way to work or taking a walk.

This can be so powerful for that too.

So wherever you are get yourself comfortable,

Find a way to relax.

If it's safe to do so close your eyes and start to turn your focus inwards.

Focusing on your breath,

Your stomach expanding on every inhale and contracting on every exhale.

Just notice your breath for a few minutes.

Just connecting to your inner self,

Allowing yourself to rest,

Be grounded in the space that you are in.

Affirmations can act as a really powerful tool to have as part of our routine.

They can help us reframe our thoughts to be more positive,

To help shift the narrative around things that we may not see in the most positive way.

So when these are practiced first thing in the morning it really allows us to start our day with intention,

With a positive mindset.

And the more that we practice affirmations,

The more that we do this practice and use it as part of our daily routine.

The more our mind becomes accustomed to thinking this way,

Truly believing these positive statements about ourselves and about our lives.

And that's the key for affirmation practice is that we really truly feel and believe the affirmations that we are speaking.

The trick is that when you're listening to affirmations it's so much more than just listening.

When I take you through the affirmations and ask you to repeat the affirmations,

I want you to hear them but I want you to feel them,

To truly feel as though they are your truth.

And if there is an affirmation that doesn't feel true to you,

Simply allow yourself to change that affirmation to be whatever it is that suits you in this moment.

The beauty of affirmations is that we can make them be whatever we want them to be.

You can simply change any affirmation you hear in this meditation or in any other meditation to better serve you.

Before we begin,

Allow yourself to focus on something that truly brings you joy in your life.

And maybe it's a place,

Maybe it's a relationship in your life,

Maybe it's a memory from the past.

And just spend a moment in that feeling of joy.

Why does it feel so good?

What do you feel when you think about that place or that thing or that memory?

Maybe even inviting a smile as you sit and remember.

And now as you sit in this place of feeling joy,

I want you to repeat these affirmations after me.

And maybe you will be repeating them in your head and that's totally fine.

Allow yourself to feel them as I say them and as you repeat them.

I am grateful for all that I am and all that I have.

I have everything I need.

I am worthy of being happy and healthy.

My body gets stronger and healthier with every breath.

I am open to all opportunities and abundance that may come my way.

I forgive all from my past and release the need to control my future.

I trust and pay attention to my inner guidance.

I attract people into my life that will support me in becoming my best self.

And release all that don't.

I give myself permission to be fully myself.

I fully and deeply accept myself for who I am.

I see all my challenges as opportunities to evolve.

I am able and capable and I meet my challenges with grace.

I am full of love and open to receive love.

I am safe.

I am worthy.

I am abundant.

I am grateful.

I am enough.

I am safe.

I am worthy.

I am abundant.

I am grateful.

I am enough.

I am safe.

I am worthy.

I am abundant.

I am grateful.

I am enough.

Allow yourself as we come to the end of this meditation to add in any affirmations that you feel called to and anything that came up for you during that last 10 minutes.

And then allow yourself to come back into the space you're in and know that you can return to these affirmations anytime you need.
