Welcome to In the Flow,
A positivity-provoking podcast designed to lift us up to that higher place to live our best lives.
We will laugh,
Cry,
Meditate,
And discuss any and all things spiritual to learn and remove any stigma surrounding spiritual gifts,
Meditation,
Prayer,
And the afterlife.
So I am weird.
That's just who I am,
Right?
It took me actually years to really admit that.
I've always known it,
Right?
I know very well the feeling of less than and the idea of sticking out like a sore thumb.
And believe this or not,
Even though you see me like this,
It made me an introvert.
Yeah,
I know that sounds kind of weird because I'm so outspoken and stuff,
But it's not really in the way you think.
I squelched who I was when I was young,
Who I was,
And what I believed and my thoughts all in an effort to fit in.
That's just what I did,
Right?
I mean,
That's kind of what you do as a kid anyway,
But I took it way further than childhood.
Hiding my essence really was who I was for like a long time,
For many,
Many years,
Until one day I just couldn't do it anymore.
Something inside me sort of,
I don't want to say snapped because that sounds really dramatic,
But something inside me was like,
No,
No more,
Right?
And I was able to crack that door open to seeing who I really was,
Right?
Now it's really cool because now living my truth is not an option.
That's just who I am,
Right?
And even more astonishingly in my readings,
When I give readings,
Mediumship readings,
When I bring through spirits of deceased loved ones of my clients,
What will happen is that I wouldn't say all the time,
But maybe a third of the time,
Third to half of the time,
One of the messages that they want to tell their loved one is to live their truth,
Be who they're supposed to be in the world.
Because life,
If we're not,
And I've said this before and it impacts me as I'm saying it,
But if we're not being our truth in this world as a human being,
Then what are we doing?
You know,
What is truth at that point?
So beginning to live my own truth allowed me to help others to understand their truth and to start to live their truth.
And I'm so honored to be able to live this way and to discuss this with others.
We're all weird in our own way.
I am just,
You know,
I'm not alone in saying that I'm weird.
I'm not alone.
But embracing that,
That we are all,
Instead of using the word,
Instead of using the word weird,
We're going to use the word unique,
Right?
Because we are all unique and that's the reality of it.
We are all unique and that's good.
We want that uniqueness,
Right?
So that's what we're meditating on today.
Yay!
Friday uniqueness.
Or depending on whatever day you end up listening to this later,
Monday uniqueness,
Tuesday.
Oh my gosh.
So are you guys ready to meditate?
Because this is the best way,
You know,
To start out the weekend,
To start out the week,
To start out your day.
You know,
Living your,
Like understanding your own uniqueness in this world and embracing it.
So let's get,
Let's get comfy.
Yay!
Let's get comfy and meditate it.
And I love you all for being weird too.
Thank you.
Us weird people need to stick together,
Right?
No,
We are all weird and we're all special.
You know,
Instead of weird,
We're unique and we're special.
I love that.
So let's get ourselves comfortable and sit back.
You can sit,
You can lie down,
You can whatever feels comfortable and close your eyes whenever you feel like you're ready to.
Let's take a nice deep breath in and release it.
I know I say this probably every morning,
But that first or last deep breath in,
There's nothing better than that.
So let's do it again.
Let's take a deep breath in through our nose and out our mouth.
Perfect.
So we're going to,
As we get ready to sit in the stillness just for a few minutes,
Let's go through our daily gratitudes.
What are you grateful for today?
What is going well in your life?
What is just even just three things that you are grateful for in your life?
For me,
I woke up extra early this morning.
Why I'm not sure,
But it felt good.
It felt right.
Get up.
Spirit,
It was like Spirit Najumi.
Get up.
Enjoy the quiet.
What are you grateful for?
And the next question that I'd like to ask,
Let's set an intention for today.
What is a good intention that you can set for yourself today?
Today I am going to,
Actually,
This could be considered an affirmation as well.
Today I am embracing my uniqueness.
For others,
It may be I'm embracing my truth.
Or it could even be today I'm allowing myself to crack open that door just a little bit to start to understand my truth.
What's great about this?
There's no wrong answer.
Our mantra for today is the Sanskrit word moksha.
Moksha in Sanskrit means freedom.
So as we sit in the stillness for just those few short minutes,
Let's meditate on moksha.
I will keep the time.
And let's begin.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Moksha.
Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Knowing that we can take moksha or freedom with us wherever we are today.
So let's take a nice deep breath in.
And release.
Breathing in that moksha.
Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.
Yay.
Yes that was brief.
But what I love about moksha,
It just puts a smile on my face every single time I say it.
Because what is there that's better than freedom?
Right?
So thank you for joining me today.
Namaste.
